Everyone welcome back in today’s video we have a ton of cleaning motivation the house was a complete disaster I needed to clean the kitchen the dining room and the living room so I’m going to take you along with me for that and we’re also going to be organizing and decluttering

Space back back there made such a huge difference in everything um I’m just so happy and pleased with it I’m so happy that I finally pushed myself to do it it’s one of the spaces in the home that I neglect a lot because it’s overwhelming and I had way too many

Different things in there that just did not need to be in there so it felt so good to get rid of some stuff donate some stuff all the things so so happy I did that especially Before Christmas it just feels so good to get that done but

Songs that we love yeah all the Christmas songs that we love and in a while we’re going to go inside and drink our chocolate by the cuz all I want is to spend this day with you so does anybody else use the big bottles of dish

Soap and then pour them into their old bottles because I do and it just saves a lot of money I know these little um squeeze bottles are kind of pricey so I like to buy the Dawn dish soap in bulk and then just have it on hand and refill

Whenever I can it’s just I don’t know I feel like it’s cheaper to do that I do like to get the Dawn dish spray as well but I feel like it doesn’t last very long I think cuz I use it on everything I’ll clean my bathroom sinks with it

Like the shower door everything with it so anyway I’m trying to get back to using more of the vinegar baking soda and um Dawn dish soap so I’ll probably be buying some more of that here soon soon because I just can’t do the chemicals anymore like I said but anyway

I’m going to go ahead and we’re going to keep washing these dishes does anybody else’s dishes piled up like this I’ve said before we cook a lot here we don’t really go out to eat at all so we’re constantly cooking and uh all three meals because we homeschool so we’re

The living room so I’m going to do that now I’m going to go ahead and clean out the second drawer on this pie piece of furniture and put them in there so that way we know where they are whenever we’re leaving or whatever I don’t have

To look for them sometimes when I keep them in the kids room they get thrown around or whatever so I would just rather have them here so like I said as soon as we’re leaving I know where to go but I did have some clutter in here I

Need to clean out the top two drawers and the bottom one as well but I’ll do that at another time but I need to start utilizing this space better because there’s not a lot of space in the house for storage so anyway I’m going to go

Mine so I needed to get it all cleaned and decluttered I had so much stuff in there you will see at the end of the video how different it looks and how much stuff we got rid of I’m also going to go through like what I donated what

We threw away and what we stored in crates to keep in the barn because like I said this house it is a nice size for us but there is not a lot of storage in here um my daughter likes to craft she likes to paint um and all that stuff I

Also like to do things like that so what we’re going to have to do is probably start storing it outside and just have it organized in crates um and just go out there and get them when we need them because like I said we can only fit the

Essentials in the house right now so I’m going to be working on that but now I’m going to go ahead and just spray the floor a little bit with the vinegar and the lemon pills um just to freshen it up and make sure there’s no germs the Steam

Mop does kill the germs but every now and then I like to spray on the floor before I’m off I know I mentioned that I’m not using the chemicals as much anymore and I’ve had people write and say that they love the pine saw and all

That and I love Pine saw too I love the smell of pine saw it’s very nostalgic for me but um and it does kill germs and I don’t see anything wrong with it using it sometimes I just don’t think it needs to be every time we clean or you know

Like I think if people are coming over and you really want the house to be fresh then I don’t see anything wrong with that but personally I don’t want to use the chemicals as much in our home for um my safety cuz I’m usually the one

Using them and then also for the kids cuz they are here all the time so that’s just what we’re deciding to do going forward and I had been doing it for years and then I drifted back to the chemicals because like I said I do love

The smell of pine Sal um but I don’t know how healthy it is for us to be inhaling so I’m just trying to figure out ways to clean that’s affordable and safer uh but yeah I’m going to go ahead and finish mopping these floors and then

We’re going to head over the next day and start on the laundry room putting on theore for everybody to give them a smile the last of the year there’s something to Happ happens will slay there’s a ring in when December ends where the children are singing in yeah it’s Merry Christmas

Went out to the barn we put it in storage because like I said we just can’t have anything but the essentials in here in order to keep it clean cuz there’s just not a lot of room so I’m going to go ahead and clean this second shelf now and get it all

But a lot of the curtains I did get rid of cuz I was just holding on to them I did change the curtains in the dining room recently I am thinking about dying them though I’m not sure because I like the uh thickness of them I like that you

Can’t see through them but I don’t especially love the color with the uh the rest of the house so I’m thinking about trying to dye those maybe just to save some money as well but we’ll see but um now I’m just putting everything back up here nicely and in order and

Making sure it’s not too cluttered I am getting rid of some of the boys old twin SE uh twin bed sheets uh they did not fit so I needed to get rid of those as well and I ended up donating those as well so anyway but I’ll show youall all

That at the end when I show youall how much stuff came out of this room including things that we threw Away Isn’t this a good life sitting on the front porch sipping on the Rocks CIT in our beverages cites in our beverages show Only the Good sides always pretty Smiles are cover in our faces you know it is all lies you know it is all

Lies on and on and on it goes round and around the rodeo breathing no there for a minute taking my time to begin with on and on and on it goes swing it down Life this is some of the stuff I’m going to get rid of like the twin sheets like I said these were the extra long ones and they don’t fit the boys’ beds anymore cuz the boys got new mattresses and then I also found this roll of craft

Paper which I was super happy about cuz I wanted to read do that project so that was good and then we just have a bunch of different craft supplies over here my mother-in-law a lot of times she will find stuff on clearance and pick it up

For us but um we hadn’t used it so I’m going to store it but I’m going to make sure I know exactly where it’s at so that way when we have free time we can start getting into these um especially just me and my daughter having something

To do together so it’s always nice to find things like that but yeah just a bunch of miscellaneous stuff up here and stuff that I didn’t even know I had I forgot I had because it was so high up so it’s not doing any good up there um

And like I said I can’t get to it easily and like I didn’t even know I had that roll of craft paper so that’s the most important thing about being organized is not going out and spending money on things that you already have knowing exactly what you have so I’m going to go

Ahead and just put these things up nicely I do end up keeping my Cricut supplies in here just just the um vinyl rolls the iron on and all that stuff and the tools because I do plan on getting my Cricut out soon and doing some stuff

With it I’ve just had a hard time hooking it up to my uh MacBook Pro so I’ll probably get my old computer out and just hook it up to there and maybe do a few things with it there but yeah I have a few uh Cricut projects that I

Really want to do so I’m going to try to get that done but I have all these bags I don’t ever want to get rid of them cuz I use these all the time to throw things away or just to have bags so I’m going to go

Ahead and keep those I don’t ever like keep try try not to keep too much uh of an excessive amount like once we’re like this I usually start getting rid of them but um we’re also going to start using the bags to take to the grocery stores

Instead of using the plastic bags anyway so that won’t be a problem anymore but um yeah this cabinet I hadn’t cleaned this in years I’m not going to lie to y’all so it was probably the worst part in here just tons of miscellaneous stuff that I would just throw in here I never

Really use the space because the cabinets are kind of awkward they’re very thin and uh it’s hard to store things in here but they turned out nicely with what I did with the Cricut suppli so I’ll go ahead and show you all that once it’s all done but for right

Now I am just decluttering I’m getting rid of I have a trash bag next to me where I’m throwing things away and then I’m just putting things up here on the dryer organizing it so that way I can go put it in storage or put it in the barn

If they’re tools and stuff like that but like I said I’ll show you all that in just a minute but first I needed to get everything cleaned out a vacuum in there and wipe it all Down can play my favorite song put your glasses on what if we stay right here make everything is a with the be sun but your glasses on yeah put your gles on yeah yeah yeah isn’t it a b crime to get little lost in everybody’s business

But um yeah it was just a mess back here stuff had fallen a lot of times when I’m cleaning like I said I will um put stuff on the dryer thinking I’m going to go through it later and then it just kind of sits there and then sometimes it

Falls back here so I needed to get this all cleaned I try to clean this often just so it’s not a fire hazard and I make sure everything’s all nice and neat back here but it does get messy really quick so anyway I needed to get all that
