  1. 1:05 I'm very lucky I'm a lightweight with wine. I can take a sip and I'm pretty buzzed in 5 mins or so. Vodka is water, Hennessy is fine, Rum hits pretty fast as well, beer hits fast. That's about it. Getting drunk is cheap for me unless it's vodka.

  2. 2 fun facts from Italy about wine:

    – If you are in Italy near Chieti (A province in Abruzzo) stop by Ortona: there is a fountain from which spills free red wine all year round (I went there once, the wine was actually really good); there are other wine fountains in Italy, but they are only available during certain events.

    – There is a legend of a ghost living in the cellars of the Castle of Montevecchio, in Tuscany; he was the owner of the castle, a passionate winemaker, and supposedly he inspects the quality of the wine in the cellars and the vineyards of the area.

  3. Well, he left one big part out… other than French and Italian wines, there's also a massive section of German wines / grape varieties (which, due to history, means linguistically German, so Germany, Austria and Switzerland). Riesling, Silvaner, Rivaner / Müller-Thurgau, Gewürztraminer, Blaufränkisch, and so on.

  4. i really like sweet red wine myself, although ill never turn down any kind of drink to be honest, but i found out about plum wine and its my absolute favorite

  5. Back when I used to drink, I played many drinking games with stuff like dark souls and when I couldn't find a cider I could drink and didn't want to buy some rum, I'd get wine as an alternative. Wine hangovers were somehow shittier than a liquor hangover for me.

  6. you can buy white claw in the uk in some places or mikes hard lemonade but no one wants american brands im sorry. Uk has a million what we call 'alco pops' which are sweet juice like drinks or vodka/gin/rum mixed drinks in a can. WKD and smirnoff ice is still really popular too. Cider is also completely different and generally quite sweet in the uk, cider is almost more popular than beer here and generally youll get like a strawberry lemonade or lemon and lime or pear flavour.

  7. Residents of ancient Rome believed that strong men drank beer, while cultured men drank wine. Some of the modern stereotypes we have of these alcoholic beverages come straight from that.

  8. He's let the Oceanian side down by not mentioning goon, the beloved cheap ass boxed wine of Australia and New Zealand that has fueled the bad decisions of so many uni students

  9. I get no kick from champagne

Mere alcohol doesn't thrill me at all

So tell me why shouldn't it be true?

I get a kick out of brew

  10. I like wine, but every time I drink it (even just a glass) there is a 100% chance that within the next 45 minutes I will vomit up the wine. I have no idea why, but I will become so incredibly sick, and when i throw up the ONLY thing that comes up is the wine, even if i was eating with it. Then once its out of me, i feel perfectly fine again. So i just… dont drink it. The only wine I can drink without getting sick is Sake but that barely counts as wine.
