   2 fun facts from Italy about wine:
   
   – If you are in Italy near Chieti (A province in Abruzzo) stop by Ortona: there is a fountain from which spills free red wine all year round (I went there once, the wine was actually really good); there are other wine fountains in Italy, but they are only available during certain events.
   
   – There is a legend of a ghost living in the cellars of the Castle of Montevecchio, in Tuscany; he was the owner of the castle, a passionate winemaker, and supposedly he inspects the quality of the wine in the cellars and the vineyards of the area.

   Regarding that H-Bomber guy video, I agree that Internet Historian plagiarized and should apologize for it. But on the other hand I'm not sure it's fair for H-Bomber to put him in the same camp as the other people he covered when his was a one-time offense. There was a pretty obvious bias against him in that video.

    I gotta say, the Man in Cave situation seems more likely to be caused by one of IH's script writers, as he hasn't been a one man show for a while. And his subsequent videos have been better about citation and having a legal disclaimer. It seems like this is a case of "Lesson learned," even if he didn't come out and take his lashings from the Twitter mobs.

    I think he's already moving forward, and already addressed the issue internally. I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't address it publicly. It was months ago at this point, and bringing it back up will probably just stir up more online drama. I think it's in his best interest to just say nothing and press forward with better content.

    In my honest opinion I think that Hbomberguy is a terrible person and content creator and all of his videos should be stolen and also someone should go to his house and steal all his furniture. No, this has nothing to do with the IH drama I just really dislike him.

    Separate comment to address something people on the IH hate train will probably mention: Cost of Concordia.

    There are 2 lines within Cost of Concordia that are verbatim from an article on the incident, in a 40 minute video. It's on the Korean couple in their room, and when the captain talked to the chaplain. And said article was even shown on screen at one point. It does not seem to actually constitute plagiarism, not in the way Man in Cave was.

    The whole hbomberguy thing is so divisive for me. On one hand I think IH should come clean and apologize if he did something bad as I believe its far more respectable to admit fault and apologize than simply hiding the truth. Some say it was because of another writer on his team but even then he should come clean, why would he hide it if it wasn't even his own fuck up?

    On the other hand I'm not really a fan of hbomberguy and some say he's politically biased against IH because apparently IH is some right-wing neo-nazi loon or some shit? I've no idea where all that comes from but knowing hbomber is a hardcore leftist I wouldn't put it past him for being biased, he's not perfect either. I remember when he got mad at Mauler (a Youtuber who is hated by the hardcore leftist-sphere) on Twitter years ago then got owned and deleted his tweet.

    I think its another internet witch hunt for some where people with nothing in their lives want to feel important and use hbombers video as ammo like with ProJared.

    I think this his video was good, and I generally like hbomber, but the situation itself pretty much drove someone off the internet entirely. I’d feel weird if I had that kind of power.

    I strongly dissagree with Hbomber, dude was just styring conflict and hate towards IH, that article was just one of the sources he took information from, like nintendo taking the entire monetization of a 10min video because there's a 1min gameplay section of mario wonder, hbomber put him among a bunch of infractors just to make him look bad, the video was good and had a great poiny, but his portrayal of IH was cleary on malicious purpose

    i read the article and the plagiarism claim is horseshit. he gave basic cliffnotes of the important stuff and transformed the fuck out of it. and now theyre trying to slander his name. how much does one have to alter a true story before it original? because from the looks of it, i guess this story about the man in the cave wasnt so important if they want it to become fantasy?

    About the H-Bomber video, I don't like it since he claims the people who he talked about plagiarized their content but enjoyed it when Hasan reacted to it even though he's one of the streamers who constantly accused of stealing people's content. Also Hasan's editor was asked how it's not plagiarism, he responded by asking the person how are they not a "pdf file" due to their pfp on X.

    2 day delay on newly released videos should honestly be a mainstay for react channels, but its more of a courtesy and people really overreacted over it last time. IMO as long as the video is properly linked and credited in the beginning and end, the ads are watched. It's good enough for me.

    I am concerned about IH and the plagiarism accusations it looks like he took the information but I don’t know if the animation and editing would count as transformative, personally I think it would be enough but him taking down and uploading again was telling that it may not have been enough. However, hbomber undercuts his points by slandering IHs audience and then mudslinging over any criticism and trolling and reacting while supporting and elbow rubbing with Hassan so it puts everything into suspect with the whole situation.

    The Internet Historian issue is pretty much a non issue.
    1. It was resolved between IH and the article author before we even knew about it.
    2. Even if 1 may be false and I am misunderstanding something, it was already in the territory of fair use.
    3. Reaction channels basically re-upload entire videos from any content creator, wouldn't that basically count as the same "problem"? It wouldn't even just be plagiarism, it would just be a complete copy/paste with sugar on, even if you make discussions around what you are watching. Credit or not.

    I dont understand why he need to apologize to the viewers. The stolen property doesnt belong to them. The problem was between whoever wrote the article and IH. If everything is resolved between the two than everything is fine.

    Tannin is not solely an aspect of grapes/wine/vinegar. It's prevalent in many berries and fruits that are full of antioxidants, which is denoted by them having deep/rich/dark red or blue, purple or outright black coloring. Cranberries, blueberries, many types of plums, and also especially so persimmons, are very rich in tannin. Tannin is the primary ingredient used in production of tanned leather (hence the word) and it's one of the most important ingredients which ancient civilizations used for the mummification procedures during funerals of royalty/elite. It has very dry and astringent effect on taste buds when consumed, but that same effect is what's having very strong antiseptic and antibacterial capabilities, which allows to make high quality/strong/very durable leathers and do long-lasting mummification wrap. Basically, every piece of completely natural leather you ever saw or wore, or any mummy you've seen in a tomb or on display somewhere (museums or whatnot), have tannin applied to them, and that tannin was taken from fruits/berries. It's one of the strongest natural preservatives.
