This wraps up my unforgettable trip in Italy! I am beyond grateful I got to experience a taste of Italy with the help of everyone at the International Education Centre at the University of Toronto Mississauga. Since entering university, I’ve always wanted an opportunity to travel abroad and when I saw the opportunity to take ITA235 Cucina Italiana: Italian History and Culture Through Food – I knew I had to go!
As with any travel experience, we faced some hurdles as we explored Bologna, Florence, and Rome but overall, this was one of the greatest highlights of my university career. I’ve developed a new appreciation for food and learned so much about the rich history of Italian cuisine.
I’m thankful for all the memories we made and once again, huge thank you to everyone who made this trip possible. Ciao for now!
