I for one, am glad the Italians are trying to protect their many indigenous grape varieties. It's not like they are banning international grapes, they are just trying to preserve their own traditions. Nothing wrong with that.
Love Italian food and wine! There are some fantastic reasonably priced super Tuscan wines out there! Had a fantastic wine tour when we were in Tuscany!
I know it's expensive but if you can do it go to Italy it is amazing!
