Welcome back to my channel, and my ongoing series from Royal Caribbean’s Symphony of the Seas cruise ship. It’s widely known that Symphony is one of the largest cruise ships on the planet (or the waves…!), and she certainly delivers from a ‘dining offering’ point of view. Onboard, you’re going to find TEN additional charge restaurants on offer (11 if you include Starbucks, but I haven’t as it’s more of a cafe…).
In total, you’ll find (in addition to the complimentary Main Dining Room): Chops Grille, Jamie’s Italian, Wonderland, Izumi, 150 Central Park, Hooked Seafood, Vintages Wine Bar, the Solarium Bistro, Playmakers and Johnny Rockets.
In this video (and the next one), let me show you one of the restaurants onboard, to hopefully help you understand what a dining experience onboard one of these hugely impressive cruise ships looks like.
We’re going to visit Jamie’s Italian in this episode, which is based out in the Central Park neighborhood of the ship. Let me show you what we order, what the restaurant ambience looks like, and provide a review on our meal and overall experience.

Jamie's on Anthem was excellent too. Wonder has Giovanni's instead of Jamies but we enjoyed that as well. Think Jamie's was the bettsr though.
Jamies looked very good. I must say I am slightly surprised at that. But you all looked like you had a great time, and really enjoyed the food! Looking forward to Wonderland now!
Oh my goodness that food looked delicious. I used to love the actual restaurants in the uk too⦠the meat and cheese planks are fantastic.

Well the elevated experience paid off! Glad to see a good time w/ friends and great food to top it off. For us the expectation of the speciality did not live up to the food expectation – but it was still a bargain compared to a home steak house – I would still try again under the right circumstances- enjoy -π

hi fraser, so glad you are enjoying Royal Caribbean, best vibe we've had on a ship. we did anthem OTS on the back of coVId, it was great….. cheap price, OBC, cheap drinks package, half full ship, cheap spec dining. booked again for oct 2024……… none of the above now. fraser, did you book the triple restaurant deal on the website or the app, or are they one & the same….open question. was just wondering if they only put the deals out via the website, or only on the app. also, how did you find the addition of gratuities for everything? 3 adults this time, alcohol drinks package Β£2736 at the moment on the app…. OMG.
