I'm taking my first trip to Germany next week, November 2022, staying in Heidhausen, so I will definitely try one or two or three of these places, if I can talk my wife into it. Thanks for the info.
Just watched the Video out of curiosity and didnt expect three places I've already been to. All of them really nice, indeed.
You both are very funny! Congratulations from Rio de Janeiro!!
Well I find that the best local food I can get in all the Bräu houses Ana amazing beer paluner dunkel for example are wundabar
Like yours Chanel guys
Munich just amazing city
I can’t believe I accidentally ended up at the Wirtshaus in der Au tonight! I just arrived in Munich and my NYE reservations fell through. The concierge made a call and said go to this restaurant. As I arrived I realized….holy poo…I am at that restaurant that I just saw Near from home talking about.
The food was amazing and I am planning on a returning before I leave.
Actually…I am now on a mission to go to ever restaurant you recommend here. Thank you so much for making this video.
Going in June! Hope to see you there. Awesome video.
Going to munich in March and we are a 10 min walk from out hotel to that first beer garden 🍻 😃
Enjoy man nice place and good good beer 🍻 too
Great recommendations! Hope to go in Sep 2023! Thanks.
Schnitzel – Austria
Knödel – Austria
i live around there, drei muhlen is my favourite
Stop talking please
And tomorrow morning he sits down and passes a f…king great 10 " T..d !
Great video. Do they have menus in English?
Schnitzel is Austrian and you don’t usually eat it with Sauce
I'm currently in Munich (April 2023) and I'm hitting all the spots presented in this video. Although I've been to Munich over 15 times, I usually roam West of the Isar River. I'm certainly glad that I found your channel – your recommendations are spot on – thanks!
Hofbräukeller biergarten ist das beste oida.
Thank you for your videos. We lived in Wiesbaden for a few years. We loved it. Miss it loads. The giant pretzels, OhMy Word. YUM. Well all the food was wonderful. Again, thank you for your wonderful videos.
thanks. so, someone who is vegan and dislikes beer should not show up in there, right? then i should go visit another country, since they wont even consider making Seitan/wheat glutton Schnitzel. (loving animals, i cant possible eat their slaughtered bodie)
I am going later this year! Definitely will make sure to go to these places! Look fantastic so can’t wait to go in person
I am currently planning a trip to Munich (with day trips to elsewhere in Bavaria!) and I have watched a LOT of your videos, but I wanted to drop a comment here because as a vegetarian I particularly appreciated the tips from Camille about what she likes to eat in Munich, so thank you for this and many other things that I have learned and will definitely be using on my upcoming trip.
thank you for your video. greetings from germany.
Loved the video, great tips, but the last place, the Drei Mühlen, blew my mind. Must go there! However, in your ”beer review” you forgot to mention tgat it’s actually Augustiner that is the best beer of München. Naughty man!
Conudle with Camille 😂
Sitting at Drei Mühlen right now thoroughly enjoyed my Schnitzeltrilogie! 10/10 recommendation! Thank you 😍
great vlog, thank you for taking us with! Yes keep doing food vlogs, you look good
Just found your channel. I love love love Munich. What about my two favorite restaurants in Munich.
1. Augustiner Keller
2. Klingwirt
Totally loved that cheese at the HofbraukellerNot to mention it isn’t so damn crowded like the main location!!! Such a chill relaxed environment (at least when I was there…..now).
Heaven beer and good grub good beer
If you would stuff your face with the food, you would be less offensive.
great videos , thanks.
Why didn't you go to the Augustiner beer garden? This is the best and locals go there..
We went to Hofbräukeller, looking for ya! No luck!
now I am hungry
any parking nearby these 3 places, please advise
Unfortunately, German food and beer is not the best choice to spend money and time for. German beer is like BMW. First you buy it, then go to Auto Repair 🤣🤣🤣
you should do more if you haven’t would love to know about other local favorite spots and not just the tourist spots
We will be very thankful if you add the price
this is a quality content…🍻
The wife and I are at the hofbraukeller beer garten RIIGHT NOW! Come visit with us LOL!
Love your videos in and around Munich! It's given me much more confidence in going and exploring
Excuse me,that is NOT a pretzel,that's a rim for a tire!
Too much of you, and not a whole lot on the content. Ugh
We love your videos! Thank you for your content. My wife and i will be traveling to Munich Nov 2- 5 and are wondering if there will be any Fests or carnivals in Munich or a nearby town? Thank you!!
I’m in Munich right now. I’m going to check out Drei Mühlen while I’m here on your recommendation
Schnitzel can be had in bavaria and good ones too but its really an austrian dish. There are only 2 options for a side dish. Its either parsley potatoes or potato salad. A chips option doesnt really exist. Its just much cheaper and easier to buy chips and fry them than peeling potatoes so in bavaria many restaurants offer it but less so in austria. You also always get a sort of cranberry sauce which often times isnt homemade and is usually too sweet but it fits really well if you happen to get lucky with a homemade one. Also gravy is a big nono on breaded schnitzels. If you think the meat is too dry without it then you should probably try a different restaurant.
I would love to make (another) trip to München and do a tour of only traditional wirtshäuser… with no trendy modern places, no ethnic food, (other than Bavarian or the occasional döner), no IPAs or burgers…. just lots of delicious pork dishes and lots of local beer. I love your work. You've touched on it a bit but I think you need to make that video. 🙂
I need a Augsburg Foodtour its near munich 😊
I've tried all of the Big 6 Munich breweries beer. I'm personally most fond of Augustinerbraeu Helles. I've probably drunk more Hofbraeu or Spaten, but only because they are available here in the States. Another of my faves is Kloster Andechs Hell. I haven't yet found a local source of Augustiner Hell.
We just got back from a trip to Germany. Your recommendation of Wirsthaus in der Au was outstanding!! We travelled for 2 weeks and ate potato dumpling as a side several times but I didn’t really like it. Though that was your top recommendation I ordered a roast pork which came with a knodel. And boy were we blown away. Loved loved the food. Also they were so kid friendly. Perfect place on a cold snowy day ❤️
