What time were you guys at z Marugame? The line is usually vet long each time U oases by during my visit to Oahu. Itโs the โsidesโ that adds up the costs. Was the chicken Katsumidori moist?

Perfect timing! Was in Hawaii in October and loved it so much lโm going back in December. I walked by that Cuban place when I went to Eggs n things next door and never knew about that food hall at royal Hawaiian. Also that ice cream/ sorbet spot looks good. Will have to stop by these places when I return. Thank you for the recommendations and all that you do ๐ค

You did awesome! Would Palama Market count as local? Their prices are pretty good. You can still get lunch for under $10

Oh man, Henry's homemade ice cream is so ono! It wasn't long ago that it was only half the price, but that's happened to so many things. It used to be a treat saying Aloha to Henry when he used to sit out in front. When you go back, try the mango ice cream!

I confess I haven't been keeping up on your videos (as much as I love them). But first off I've got to say you guys both look GREAT! You both look like you've lost weight and gotten fit!!! That's awesome. Waikiki is where I grew up and last lived in Hawaii. $50 as a "cheap" day seems insane to me. I've been priced out of paradise. Now living overseas, I can live in a luxury condo, play golf every week, eat pretty much what I want, and my total budget for the month is about 1.5x what my dad pays for his electric bill for his house out on the north shore…and that's including full health insurance. Thanks so much for your videos. They help me from getting homesick. ๐ดโฅ๐ด๐

I was wondering if Allegrini made their own cheesecake since they do make a lot of items. Then there is the Cubano…Yum… I visited Castro's when they first opened, and it did not disappoint.
And Henry's Place, I am glad they are still in business, way back in the day the homemade fruit bowls was the most popular item to get. But now the real homemade sorbet's & ice creams are the stars, and this was a nice feature to end your day. Thank you both for the great content…Mahalo!

They have another location on Fort Street Mall. We used drive by the location in Waikiki, line down the street around the corner. So happy when I saw the Fort Street Mall location. Love everything, so light and not greasy.
