No matter whom you are hosting this holiday season, this is a recipe that all your guests will love. If you have a small family gathering, it is easy to make on top of the stove; if you have a bigger crowd, use the oven, multiplying the ingredients by two or three for larger groups. Buon Gusto!

  1. I just love your stories. I love your recipes. I love your memoir. I sure hope, God-Willing, that you write another memoir of stories and recipes together. Maybe, a story behind a recipe book 🙂
    Love you so much.
Jesus, our Savior, Loves you Most, and sure gave you beautiful gifts to share that you do so wonderfully, with His Help.
    So thank you.

  2. It would be nice where we each, who would like to, make a dish, most likely from your recipes, and the Winner has lunch with you in your garden ❤

  3. Love and Miss Gramma Emelina too. May she Rip.

  6. I made this tonight, and it was absolutely delicious! I didn't add hot pepper because I used hot Italian sausage – also I used a leek instead of onion – it really was very good – I will add this to my repertoire – ever growing thanks to Lydia

  7. I would have deglazed that pan for more sauce. So much flavor on/in that pan still. A nice warm piece of bread to sop up the sauce, Yummy!!!!
