We made it to Rome! We are spending the week in Italy’s capital and we are going to immerse ourselves the best we can in the glorious Italian culture. The visit couldn’t have started any better as by some stroke of luck the Airbnb we rented has a view of the Colosseum right outside our window! In all honesty out of everywhere we stayed during our time in Italy, this place was the best!
So we kick off by hitting the supermarkets to get our provisions (seriously what would we do without Coop and Conad) followed by a delicious Italian home cooked meal by our resident Airbnb chef Jessica lol. Next up we take the 1 minute walk to go check out the 1,900 year old Colosseum.

After taking you on a 360 guide of the famous Roman monument we then head to what we think is Italy’s best Vegan Restaurant – Refugio Romano. On route we hear Jessica’s harrowing tale of the very first thing she saw upon arriving in Rome, it wasn’t pretty! Then it’s back to our apartment to wind down. Pleasure to have you with us : )

Old school me! Like creature comforts, so it’s hotel, all inclusive and the more stars the better. As for Rome, as you know we travelled extensively in Europe, we have never been, but her indoors would like a visit. Enjoyed the vlog guys, keep it up and any decision on where next?
Hahaha. Died laughing at the cut-away scene post-tinted sunscreen. I basically eat Roman red pizza all day whenever i go to Rome – it's the best. Roman apertivo restaurants are great too – great when you are on a budget.
