The day I proposed to my Fiancé at Le Sirenuse in Positano, Italy. For this time-lapse of images I used the new GoPro Hero 6.
“Since we met, we had always discussed Italy being at the top of our list of places to visit. On a whim, we booked a ten-day trip to Italy that would make stops in Venice, Florence, Rome, Capri, Positano, and Naples. Little did Jessica know that this would truly be the trip of a lifetime! Before leaving, Jose asked Jessica’s parents for their blessing as well as made them promise that they would not let the secret out.
Jose was crazy enough to have kept the ring in his backpack for seven days, which did not leave his side no matter where we went…planes, trains, boat rides, hours of walking around different cities, fancy dinners, laying out at the beaches, and even on a chairlift up the mountain of Anacapri.
There were many times that Jessica questioned whether or not Jose was enjoying the trip as much as she. Jose seemed very pensive and quiet throughout the first several days. The reality was that Jose was concerned with finding the perfect moment, which he thought that he might have missed, after being in Capri and having dinner under the lemon trees at one of the most beautiful restaurants, DaPaolino.
On the seventh day, which happened to be in Positano, we planned to grab drinks at Le Sirenuse and watch the sunset. While we were enjoying our glasses of wine on the balcony, Jose sneakily walked up to the top-level balcony where he found the perfect spot to propose. As we exited, Jose suggested that we take a few more pictures by the top-level balcony. He then set up the GoPro, and here goes the rest…”
