Unfortunately I feel that like with Conte when we had the need for investment because we were top 3 in the league we didn’t buy in January and left it till the summer by which time he had started to get fed up. You have to strike when the time is right. We have had a amazing start and there’s an opportunity to take advantage that our rivals are not at their best especially City . We can make some big moves to take advantage of the fact AP and his system hasn’t been worked out to counter it. But at least he’s in charge of the signings
I think you’re being a bit harsh on Emerson. He’s improved massively before AP but hasn’t had much time to play not really enough to write him off with this team
Dier hasn’t got the pace especially against a side like Wolves but not all of the opponents
Dier is a very poor and slow CB. Why do you refuse to realise it ? On which basis are you saying he was great vs Chelsea??? Without Vic's incredible saves and Chelsea's clumsiness, it would have been 1-8 that night. Dier was beaten EVERY time in the 2nd half cause he is slower than a 70 year old. And yesterday for the 2nd goal he was ball watching AGAIN. He did the same in pre-season vs Barcelona. That guy is passive, watches on instead of acting. And still, you have been protecting him for years because he is English. If he was Polish, you would never have been protecting him like that… 😂
So, please, simply tell the truth…

disagree about your GLC comments boys sorry – He needs a run of games in the team before we can pass judgement on him in anges system. Bentancur would be better suited to a few more games off the bench and imo suits sarrs role better
To me, this game was about Dier and Pierre. Ange didn’t have Dier in the team which proves what he thinks of him. Pierre is better coming in off the bench to see games out. Lo Celso should have started on the left so Sarr could stay on the right. I think Ange sees that he needs to get Phillips ready because Dier isn’t suited and has mistakes in him. If Phillips is next to Davies, he may do better than Dier. A mistake from a youngster is more tolerable than from an experienced CB who just can’t run, doesn’t fit Ange’s system, and is prone to mistakes. Hopefully Ange’s works on both Phillips and Dorrington during this break so one of them can replace Dier. 🙏🏽🤔
I can see big Ange raiding Celtic in January for perhaps Carter-Vickers and a couple of the Japanese players that he brought to the club.
And, before anyone starts slagging off the Celtic players, remember about 95% of the tottenham support didn't rate or didn't want Ange when he was mentioned for Tottenham job.

Tactically I think Ange plays football in a very similar way that Australian Football is played. Fierce contest to win the ball and then get the ball to the next target. Defenders follow the ball up the field and defend the next contest. Better to defend on the half way line than in the mouth of goal.
I think it's too easy to say, 'X player' was at fault here and there etc.. but I think we really have to look at Ange and the team selection. Hands tied to a degree obviously, but the midfield line up was not full of players who would press and create a second/third/fourth goal. 1-0 is never enough in the Prem, everybody knows it. I don't think we can genuinely blame any player – and this is exactly what Ange ha said all along. If he picks a team to play a certain way and we don't deliver and lose.. it's on him.

Rodrigo also can play lovely through balls as well. Mostly from deeper which is probably even more difficult. I just don’t think Lo Celso has the pace for a 90 minute PL match

Flannerys on W 14th st and 7th Ave is a great place to watch a match. It’s the home of the NY Spurs supporters club. Great atmosphere and always draw a big crowd for weekend Prem matches
I think we all know that there is still a core of players that aren't up to the challenge and sadly we had to call on them again but lets be realistic Ange has hardly joined the club . We just have to give the guy a realist time to settle in and mould the team as he want's it .
