    Venice population 260.000 people every year come to Venice over 30.000.000. million tourist

    I have to respectfully disagree with you on your comment that Venice needs to invest in ramps to make it easier on tourists who overpack. Tourists need to know what their destination is like by doing a bit of research, and then pack accordingly. A backpack works best. At least a small, light case that you can easily pick up to carry over the bridges. Alternatively, you could hire a private boat taxi to get you and your luggage from one place to the next.
