The only thing negative about motor homes is the price…if you can afford them then there's a good chance you'll get back the lot when you sell it on because the manufacturer's and retailers are profit gouging for all ttheir worth!!.❤️🇬🇧
One of the best things about caravans and motorhomes is you've got a full bathroom on board..no need to trudg out in the cold and rain to have a shower.. really handy in CLs and Aires in the EU..this life style will change your life for the better.. I've been doing caravaning for 3 decades now and it's totally changed my thinking about what's important and the direction my life has taken..for the first time you'll be independent and free like you were in your teenage year's.. enjoy and safe travels!!.❤️🙏🇬🇧

Never thought of a soda stream since I was a child, great idea! BUT.. You did skim over the G n T bit, does it make a decent tonic or just soda? Also how do the tastes, Pepsi etc rate in flavour to the ‘real thing’.

One thing you didn’t mention is the fact if you want to visit different places you are confined to your camping site unless you drive in your motor home. We bought fold up electric bikes and they have been fantastic. Happy travels

Haha, I would say Sarah has probably spent more than her fair share changing nappies and cleaning toilets through the years, and he wants to earn a medal for his shit-removing contribution😂
You should definitely get the awning room thingy. Are you going to go somewhere warm for the winter? I mean after the holidays or in between. Loved hearing about the challenges. Your bag for the shower just needs to be big enough to hold a towel. Emptying the toilet might be the thing that would stop me from getting an RV.

Dammit…you actually had me considering purchasing a motorhome to tour Europe for a few years. Turns out registration and insurance is virtually impossible for north Americans (Canadian in my case). The only option is a purchase/lease option in The Netherlands which is quite expensive in the long run.
There’s an old phrase: If you can’t do the time don’t do the crime
What this means is that if you can’t face the negative consequences of your actions you’d better refrain from doing them.
So in this example, if you deposit liquids or solids in the toilet you should be part of the disposal team.
The only reasonable exception I could see to this rule is if one person does number twos and the other sticks to number ones only. In that scenario I would say that the person doing the number twos should be wholly responsible for the emptying and disposal routine.
What’s silliest of all is the idea of one gender being exempt from such duties. Sorry to say but both genders excrete waste, and therefore no one should avoid the consequences in 2023… if you can’t do the time don’t do the crime
