It is time to get my BMW 800GS its yearly service. Its not that straight forward when you live on a tiny island in Thailand! The trip involves going to Hat Yai where the nearest BMW service centre is (about 400km away), via a trip on a night boat, off road trails, twisting mountain roads, and flying over the baby island of Ko Yo. This first part shows our journey down to Hat Yai.
