As some of our viewers know, my dad, Max, was a contestant on MasterChef Italia. He did very well with the judges on the show, but what does Eva think about his Italian cooking skills?
Since he’s visiting us from Rome, where he now lives, we decided to challenge him with three Italian cooking trials. Welcome to MAXterChef!

I think that next I want to challenge EVA to a game of MaxterChef, with my dad as the judge! What would be some good challenges to test her skills with?
That was fun to watch! Now I know why I could never go on a cooking show! I couldn't handle the pressure!! Great job, Max! Can't even imagine when you were on the show! Eva, you were a kind judge! Harper, you were a great 'host'! Fun! Yes! Eva's turn now!!!
I checked: tomatoes and tomatillos are both nightshades, but different branches. They're cousins but not siblings. 🙂 (Tomatoes are from South America, and tomatillos are from Mexico and Central America)
And bravo to Max! He not only did pretty well for his nuora, but we all learned a bit by his mistakes and his triumphs. Thanks to all three of you!
It doesn’t matter how you spin it, gnocchi is NOT pasta. Neither is risotto. You told the nice gentleman he was going to have to make fresh pasta, and the you hand him two potatoes. That’s not pasta in any way, shape, or form. I call foul.
What a wonderful challenge…and your dad is so handsome!!! Loved his mastery of Italian…
You could eat all these dishes nice dad the kids going to be kids❤😂🎉😢😮😅😊
The best part is “moisty chicken” 😅
Gooseberry family
Good job Dad!!!
Tomatillos are related to the gooseberry family
Fried green tomatoes and sauce…
Brilliant video
Eva just savage in this one! 😅
Dad's such a good sport, never take him for granted, Harper.
mmm interesting that a dish with tomatillos is definitely new. I think I would put 300 lbs into it, and it'd be a new sauce to dish up with good, interesting Italian american flavors. Always to combine and create new pages to write the world cuisines. Avenci and Boun Appetite Master Max and crew pasta grammar.
Eva, you're not just a chef – you're the BEST chef!
I LOVE EVA!!! She says everything wheb she says nothing!!! 😅😂🤣😅😂🤣 She would never need to use words in my family's house
Max needs his own YouTube channel: "Survival Cooking with Max".
I just watched "Ricetta astice stufato – Max Alexander | Cook Like a Master" on the MasterChef Italia YouTube channel.
So Harper refused all lobster, describing them as "filthy orange insects".
