Yes it needs some reconfiguring on the stairs which is a brilliant idea. Additionally the big question would be could one put in a toilet, sink accessible from both rooms and purchasing stand alone wardrobes. Otherwise it's great as is.

Adrian's suggestion is very clever. The property is not bud, it definitely needs new bathroom, kitchen and duble glassed windows, but the price is not high, so….
Every bathroom should have cross ventilation IMO. 😅😂😅😂
How about a spiral staircase? You'd have more room downstairs too.
