  1. The level of cooking they are doing is more like science . That speaks volumes about the vegetarian Indian restaurant that came in second. I can only imagine the flavors that took and how great that restaurant is. Visiting the brothers' place is like once in a lifetime flavors and experience I'd imagine, but the Indian food is what you'd crave and can afford on a weekly basis.

  2. If they'd thrown some goat into their main course and backed off the sugar in the desert course, the Indians would've won. I've been to London, and all the best "British" restaurants are Indian.

  3. Looking up both of these restaurants today. Prashad has moved to slightly nicer digs, a two-storey former pub, and is now in the Michelin guide (not starred, yet). Seems like they're still going strong. Sadly, as far as Casamia goes, it looks like Jonray, one of the brothers, has died of skin cancer after being ill for years. What a tragic end for such a young talent.

  4. I don’t understand how this is Italian food? I’m an American so maybe there’s more to Italian food than tomato sauce and pasta…
I would love to try the vegetarian food. I never cared for Indian food before because of the meats they would use. But I would try this.
