Hello Mrs Katia..I think I like both versions, really..They both amazing..If I were U I wouldnt get rid off those previous rattan chairs cause they are still unique, I would rather put them to another room, maybe basement..But I totally understand that U love to switch things around cause I do the same..Once more U can be proud of Yourself❤❤❤

Love your house but have to agree with other response, those rattan chairs are the bomb. You won't see those anywhere else. I feel the new chairs are too big for that space although I do like the chairs . You have a beautiful home; but, again, the rattan chairs are beautiful, so unusual.

The colour scheme is good but the previous earthy neutrals were full of texture and nuance. Your previous chairs were weightless looking with the cane crosshatching effect, whereas the new chairs are very solid and take up a lot of visual space and are reminiscent of lounge chairs.
They also look like you cannot push them under the table as dining chairs would have been able to do.
The previous chairs seem to flow with the table through their colour value and wooden material. It does look beautiful but not as functional.

At the beginning I though the new chairs were to big but …no! You did beautiful with the chairs. It look almost comfy as a lving room. And also good choice changing the carpet. It looks now that the focus is the table. Something that I think in this case is the most important part of your new dinning room!

Sorry, but the old chairs go better with you're table, maybe if you painted in white or vanilla beige looks better!!!
