This is a journey of love and passion with a little bit of madness. We purchased this amazing Italian Palazzo and every weekend for over a year we have been slowly bring this historical Italian home back to life. My name is Nick Ferrand and with my beautiful partner Victoria Greenwood we have laughed, cried, argued and dreamed of one day moving in.

What a phenomenal property, the ball room is stunning. The painting is almost trompe l'oeil. Will it be gently cleaned and touched up? I assume the orchestra would have played music from the above balcony. What a place, you are a lucky man!
In addition to my previous comment about the ball room, do you by chance know when the room was decorated/painted? It looks like it may be 18thC?
I did not see original video of home, so all new to me. A ballroom! Rummage video? Absolutely. What a treasure you have invested in. It will be a well spent life living there. Not yet done watching. I am on the 1st floor. Okay..done. The work your and Victoria's hands do to restore for your lives there, will be so rewarding, as you enjoy all the builders did originally. So blown away by the size and beauty of it, Nick. Blessings to you for your life to be lived there.

So cool you ended up owning this wonderful piece of history. Your palazzo and the one with the rooftop garden and untouched pharmacy from the ‘50’s are the two most memorable properties you have shown in my opinion. Just wonderful stuff.

Congratulations for this wonderful 'restoration battle' you are winning in Anghiari. The closing views of your vlog are stupendous in that the murals seem as 'accurate' as tapestry cartoons by Raphael. It is simply mesmerizing. It would be very valuable if, as you progress, could make more vlogs on your own experience in acquiring and restoring 'gems' such as this, so as to help us in reaching a better understanding on all cost attached to this kind of acquisition and ambitious restoration work. You were so taken with this property in your original video, that I'm not surprised that you purchased it. You're spot on with the approach to the renovations (but pleeease replace that one tile). The intricate tile floor in the finished room and the frescos in the "storage" room are fantastic. And there's the ballroom, too. Will you attempt to restore the walls there or is it possible to prevent further degrading/fading? It's wonderful that this historical property can be carefully and lovingly restored. If I weren't in the US, I'd gladly offer a helping hand. Yes, please show as much as possible, either progress or rummages. Complimenti e tanti auguri! Nick, sei un buon uomo!
