A parte il cibo tutto buono della nostra meravigliosa Italia che mi manca un sacco, io vorrei davvero fare i complimenti a Jessi perche' e' di una bellezza disarmante, elegante e posata. Una ventata di aria fresca.
In that second place, did he say the carbonara had too much cream? There’s no cream in carbonara!
💚🤍❤
I love Roman cooking.
All you do is eat
It's pasta and local ingredients. Honestly, not that big of a deal. Just pay attention to your bill. 😂
Daje Alessio romano onorario, siete una bella coppia lei è molto dolce e fine
Going to Rome in a month and my Airbnb is near Ristorante da Michele 😍 for sure mentioning your video was the reason I went, can’t wait!
Thank you for this video (and others; my wife and I particularly enjoyed the Siena and San Gimigniano tour). Request: please (unless I’m totally overlooking them) put in your program notes the names of the three restaurants. Thanks!
Is there an Italian organic semolina flour (to make fresh pasta) Alessio and Jessi really like that can be bought in the USA?
Thank you so much for the recommendation of Da Michele! The pasta and pizza were dreamy 🤩
Thank you for your honesty.
Allessio has to be related to the fantastic French actor, Pio Marmai…. they are definitely one another's doppelganger!
Hi Jessi & Alessio, Greatjob!!! We will visits Rome for 2nd time. Thanks a lot. Ciao…!!! 😉
Do you have a video about how Italians stay lean despite the fact that so much carbohydrate? 😅
How are pastas ~$13 dollars in Italy? Pasta here in Los Angeles is easily double or more!! Ugh!! Take me to Italy!
I went to Rome in March and we tried many restaurants. I found most of them because of social medias and was so disappointed with the food in Rome. I should have watched your videos before to go. Now, I just want to go back. Your videos are perfect. 👌 Thanks!
5:23 I was in Da Enzo and had the Cacio e Pepe in July 2021. I had the same experience; the pasta was over cooked and the sauce had separated and was too liquid and grey in colour. I was eating alone and given a bad table after queuing for over 30 minutes to get a seat. I would not re or go back. I think in the past it was probably a good simple place but it’s fame on social media has had a negative impact on the food quality. There were also far more foreigners than Italians there which is not a good sign either.
I wish that these complainers would go somewhere else. I was raised as a child, "If you don't have anything to say, say nothing at all!"
You two are so adorable! Thank you for this video. You were very polite yet honest. We will be in Rome next month for the first time so we are so excited!
I enjoyed your video of Rome and used it on my trip. I came across today a must restaurant you should put on your list to review near Torre Argentina that I think is a serious contender for the Cacio e Peppe. The restaurant is Bottega Tredici. The pasta was cooked to perfection and the pecorino formaggio was glorious. This full Italian walked away totally stunned in a good way. I might have to go back and test the Carbonara tomorrow!
Che barba semp6re a parlare di carbonara.
Marchettona per acqua Panna
Si ma la carbonara è troppo gialla e l' ombrello è cinese
I went to Enzo 6 years ago and didn't like their pastas at all. However, their ox tail was really good.
I thought Carbonara is not Italian like Fettuccine Alfredo??
Do you have suggestions for best truffle pasta in Rome or Naples?
Jessi, you look lovely in that dress. I wish more women would wear them. Where is the Arthur Ave. of Rome?
there's this restaurant also in travastere cheap but very good pastas and pizzas Carlo menta busy
12 euro= 2 euro dish❤
ya find me a local trattoria with a 6 euro plate of pasta and i'm happy
i had an amazing amatriciana in trastevere
