  3. Thats too funny! I literally just made something almost identical to this last night. All the same ingredients, even the same noodles, just in a different arrangement. What I made wasn't an official Italian dish either but comparable to a baked ziti. The noodles like that is kinda ridiculous, I'm not going to lie.

  4. Isn't the whole point of it so that the sauce falls into the rigatoni? By making the sauce a really thick meat sauce you've kind of messed that up…. it is a pretty dumb idea overall though, since once its on the plate it's the same as any other pasta dish

  5. Use a piping bag and fill each tube with the (finely chopped) meat sauce.

    I'm curious what you could pull off with something I learned while living in the dorm… Basically, it's fried stuffing. (when we had NO money, this was freaking delicious). Just make your favorite stuffing. then, instead of baking it, add a few eggs and fry scoops of it in a pan with oil. it's like that crispy stuffing on the outside of the bird, but better.

    You can make patties and call them stuffing burgers or make balls and call them Stuffing balls. We made this in a microwave and hot plate in the room, for about 5 bucks.

    I'd love to see what the "Sam Treatment" could do for this oldie but goodie.

  12. If I made this, I'd use a piping bag with a large open cap and first pipe in the meat sauce until each individual rigatoni was half full. Then add the white sauce on top with a piping bag. Finally, top them off with a collage of the two sauces over the top and finally cover with the mozzarella.
