    When we moved in our house, it had put peel and stick tiles in the kitchen and laundry. Over time, the glue like melted and the tiles shifted. Hope yours last longer!

    No no no no no. What did you do to your floor?! I get your vision, but you ruined perfectly good, beautiful, and durable time flooring with cheap vinyl. It won't last 5 years, and then you'll have to redo everything.

    @MaCenna, you need to get a “flexi curve” for templating the curves – it’s a technical drawing tool. Not sure what it’s called in US, but that’s what we call it in South Africa. It’s a bendy ruler thing for measuring and drawing curves.

    I like the bars on the bathroom window, you should attach them using a hinge or magnet so you still get to keep them but they still open.

    I admire your industrious work and creativity, but I think you missed the boat with covering up your white ceramic tile which appear to be in good condition. It was a blank slate. I think the peel and stick looks cheap. I think your could have replaced the mirror with an antique one, painted the vanity, and replaced the knobs with the type you used in other places. Just saying.

    Those edges is what I would be worried about. I don’t know if there is a way to hide that since you have the backsplash tile going around the room. How are you marrying the two?

    USE EYE PROTECTION whenever using a wire brush! My dad got his eye impaled by a wire brush bristle that flew off while using one! Fortunately he was ok but please be careful.

    Not meaning to be Debbie downer, but did you think about what it will be like when you decide to remodel and have to remove this double bonded vinyl floor and then the tile floor???
    I saw someone with your same tile floor, stencil and it was absolutely gorgeous.

    I used the backing paper to use as a template and cut it until it fits perfectly. Then you can just fold the paper.

    my grandma has bars on her bedroom window for safety but they have a key and hinges, she keeps the keys somewhere safe and at hand in case she ever needs to open them to scape , that would be a good solutions for your bathroom window bars in my opinion.

    For the roller. You can use your weighted pastry roller and your body weight in a small area (bathroom, closet) it works fine.
