I am Hispanic and have been so whitewashed by my upbringing in a middle class family/neighborhood, where neglecting your heritage to fit in with the upper class resulted in two non-Spanish speaking generations in my family. It never bothered me until now that I'm going for a job to help those in vulnerable populations where a majority speak Spanish. 😢 You're the first channel I subscribed to that cooks this kind of food which makes me feel at ease knowing that if I can't appeal to their hearts with my words, I can maybe warm their soul by taking a detour through their bellies!
