First, can we talk about how inexpensive the wine is across most of Europe? Granted, this is basically cooking wine, but even the basic bottles of wine are often in the €3-5 range for table wine. Whether we’re in France, Spain, Italy, Greece or here in Cyprus, it’s been easy to find quite inexpensive wines that, compared to what you’d get in the US for that price, is far superior in taste.
Add the fact that Cyprus has been 1,000,000 degrees 🥵with 7,000% humidity 💦, a cold dry white wine has been perfect. Even if the equivalent bottle price is about $1.50 🤣🍷
So, do you go for cheaper wine or only the extra nice stuff?
