Early dock at Messina. Breakfast in the main dining room. Then off to an excursion to Taormina and a lava river viewing followed by wine tasting. Taormina ws very busy but still a beautiful hilltop town. Nice streets, buildings and shops along with tasty food. Then off to see the lava river which formed in 1992 when lava flowed down from Etna. Wine tasting then at a vineyard and finally back to the ship for dinner and sail away to a beautiful sunset.
