This episode I’m taking you to a little town in Tuscany where they were celebrating the festival of the grape. It’s harvest season in Italy and this week everyone gathers in the piazza to sing and drink and be merry. This episode is in Italian and English for those of you learning Italian.

Every day I get so many emails and comments asking why you can’t locate the music I use or find it using Shazam. I purchase music licenses for almost all the music you hear in my videos. I buy them them from various royalty-free production music sites and most of the time they don’t list the performer because it’s music made only for film productions with an audio watermark throughout the entire track, unless you purchase the single-use license for $50-100 per track. I use a lot of opera so often I’ll reference the opera but I won’t be able to direct you to a recording of that specific performance that you could stream or buy on iTunes or Spotify. Hope that clears things up and thank you for appreciating quality music.

OMG! The friend pizza dough is the closest thing I have seen to Nana's Vastedda!!! She used to make simple bread dough and make several loaves of bread, a pizza, and Vastedda that she would fry and then serve stuffed with squash flower, egg, peppers, manesha (mustard greens). I used to get my Vastedda with butter and sugar as a kid. Such fond memories. 😊😊😊
so cute
I live in Scansano darling..but did not see u there.
Tutta l'Italia in 10 minuti ! Grazie Kylie ❤
The best video you've ever done—my favorite! Italians could teach the world how to enjoy life. The 2 best things were the homemade decorations on the farm vehicles (oh, I so want an Ape!!) and little Gianfraco, just calmly taking it all in. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Hey Kylie! Thank you soo much for all the work you do! I live in Tuscany and not surprised by the meat culture here. But I’m not too sure how ethical the meat farmi here. Do you have any information about this? Could you tell us more about meat and diary farming culture?
As always, Kylie, you highlight such beauty in your embraced home, history and culture. This brings back memories of our Italian neighbours who used to make wine with my dad. It was a celebration each year and so much fun. Maybe he tried to create & bring a slice of Italy back home to Australia. I’ve been drawn to the warmth and excitement of Italian culture and friends ever since. Today it makes me reminisce and miss my beloved dad. You all look so happy embracing these joys of life!
Love festivals celebrating food and community getting together but as a vegetarian didn't like pig's head on car felt disrespecfull to the animal
Kylie, what a wonnderfuull festival you shared with us❤🤍💚 Guido and your baby, precious!!🥰 Loved the people having so much fun, the costumes, the God of Wine, the wine flowing … bet that's great wine compared to the avg NY store wine.
I remember when my grandmother used to have her 'vindimas' as we called it. She had small vineyards and apple trees too, would hire local people and we kids would 'help' by putting our grapes in small tupperwares … memories! & I luv cinghiale anything. There used to be an Italian restaurant on W 56th that had the best Pappardelle al Cinghiale, my fave boar dish
Very enjoyable! What a way to celebrate a very good thing! The Italians do it best! 😋❤🙏🏼
Love the celebration ❤surprised to see they were using the Australian invention of the cask wine with the foil bladder!
Ciao Italia
Kylie, you truly make the best YouTube videos! I get so excited when I see you posted another one, not only do I get transported to Italy, I get to practice my Italian also. There’s no other YouTube channel like yours, I don’t know how else to explain it but your videos have a sense of timelessness to them, I watch your videos from years ago and they still feel valuable and just as nice to watch as when they were first posted. You show life in a very poetic way, and I think that’s what a lot of people need! Thank you for the video 🙂
Now that’s a festa!!
Love it!!! I hope you having a great afternoon..
Hello Kyle,
I am writing you from Hungary. We have the fried pizza dough as well, we call it lángos. We eat it with garlic & salt, or sour cream, or sour cream& greated cheese. Just in case you want to try @ home😉

Beautiful video Kylie. Thank you for taking us along. ❤
Bellissimo video, come sempre, e ancora più bello in due lingue. Hai imparato molto bene l’italiano. Brava. ❤
