  1. As someone with sensory issues with food textures sometimes this unifying of ingredients would really be helpful on days when that is worse.

  2. All of these seem like they were better in their original form except maybe the Cesar one. But they all look delicious, and the video is great. I can't wait to try that Cesar dressing recipe.

  3. The thing about the last one is that ceasar salad wraps have been a thing for a long time, and i love them, so why not a sandwich? it's not a far stretch IMO! honestly if anything, I suggest seasoning chopped lettuce with a little dressing before adding it to a sandwich/burger. really elevates it

  4. I think this became a trend because Italian sub chopped salads got popular then people were like 😮what if we put it back in bread

  5. The fries on a sandwich… bleh. Canadians. That said, I am ALL about a chopped salad sandwich. I have young children and making subs for them is useless. They can't cut through foods with those little teeth and just end up with components all over themselves. This could work for us. Like a chopped antipasti on Italian bread. Oh yeah!

  6. i dont have chewing problems, but i do have ARFID and texture concerns from ADHD/Autism, and to me these sandwiches actually sound fantastic. i like when things are more soft and mixed together, because it makes me feel like im less likely to be surprised by a bite. and when being surprised by a bite in your meal is the difference between finishing your only meal of the day or not, it's really important to me that i know exactly whats up with my food. didnt even realize that i technically do this when i make spaghetti- i tend to chop it all up very small before eating it with a spoon, and i do the same with it when making spaghetti tacos which i guess is my chopped sandwich equivalent LOL.

also, let's be real: it definitely fixes cold cut subs because idk who thought biting through cold slabs and even layers of meat was appetizing because it is not.

  7. As a Canadian, I'm not sold on adding bread to a poutine. Bacon, smoked meats, even veggies like Green Peas – absolutely. It's too much of a good thing with nothing to cut through the heaviness.

  8. Licensed Italian Hoagie enjoyer here- I like the heterogeneity of the ingredients being layered! I’m weirded out by this cole slaw looking sandwich. I’m with you, it’s not doing it for me.

  9. So I have kids that are on the picky side and will not hesitate to pull off lettuce and tomatoes but it it is all chopped they can't and they actually love it!

  10. My only issue with this video is that from jump it sounds like you didn't want to make it. This is YOUR YouTube channel and if you want to ignore trends that you think are dumb, you have that right

  11. As an autistic person, these look so good
Every bite the same, no trying to bite through lettuce or big slices of things? Yes please

  12. I absolutely hate sogginess in a sandwich so this trend doesn’t appeal to me at all. I carefuly structure my sandwiches to avoid putting the elements like tomatoes away from the bread.

  13. I walked away from the video for like two seconds.. when your boyfriend started talking I literally thought it was you😂 you sound the sameeee

  14. the first two sandwiches fillings looks like leftovers from a garbage bin 🤢, the caesar salad looked good tho

  15. I am currently without my upper teeth and will be this way for the next 3 to 6 months. I have a temporary denture, but it doesn't work very well. These are an appealing change from my current diet of smoothies, rice and sardines! Except that crusty bread will be an issue. Hmmm 😕

  16. I genuinely missed Stephen 😂❤ y’all are so cute and I love that he’s extra Italian lol

  17. i don’t think i’ve ever had a chopped sanwhich but i think i’d like it. consistent filling throughout…. no tomato slice shooting out the back of the sandwich… sounds lush!

  18. I like the chopped sandwiches bc im autistic and very sensitive to textures, so the pre-chopping is great for me. I get it isn’t for everyone though

  19. lmaoooo the end literally had me laughing out loud. the dynamic between you two is hilarious and adorable. love when stephen joins in. side note, david your videos are such a comforting space for me. thank you for the work you do to put them out

  20. Ceasar salad its actually from México, but not from México City, its actually from Tijuana, right across the border with San Diego
