    Liebe Kirsten und Jörg, der Bummel durch die Häuser hätte uns auch Spaß gemacht, und wir hätten sicher auch etwas gefunden. Mein Mann sagte zu mir, das wäre nichts für uns da würden wir bestimmt einiges kaufen wollen. Vor allem das schöne Grammophon würde ihm gefallen. So schön, dass ihr etwas für euer schönes Heim gefunden habt. Ich bin leider erst so spät zum Anschauen gekommen. Es startet ja schon das neue Video:)). Ihr seid wirklich sehr fleißig. Ich kann mir richtig vorstellen wie gespannt ihr gewesen seid die Umschläge zu öffnen. Das ist sehr interessant. Mein Mann sagt auch immer zu mir dass wahrscheinlich ein Stück England in meiner Vergangenheit ist weil es mich immer dorthin zíeht:)). Vielen Dank für diese Reise durch wunderschöne Antiquitäten.     What a wonderful surprise to see you two Lovelies in Lincolnshire, I'm originally from Lincoln (currently live in Jersey CI) Hemmswell antique centre & The Five Bells at Bassingham are two of my favourite places to visit! We have some wonderful charity & antique places here in Jersey, and our home is a 1936 house, which we've decorated & furnished in keeping with the era/style….     Kirsten and Joerg, As soon as I saw you looking at paintings in the Antique shop, I recognized Helen Bradley's work. I have owned her book of paintings – with a little story underneath each one – for almost 50 years! It's called Miss Carter Came With Us. The painting you bought is in the book, and depicts a little walk along a lane the day before they all go to Blackpool. All of the pictures depict Edwardian life in Lancashire (when Helen herself was a child) and they all feature those lovely little people.
