  1. 2:11 Gosh! I wanted to turn all tiger mum and ask those kids "feet off the table!" or 「腳不要放桌上!」("jiao bu yao fun zuo sean" now you know what to say next time if you see poor mannered Asian kids in public in Mandarin, most of those are from China, so hey, just saying.)

  2. It really seems like the public spaces were not well thought out at all. The art gallery and photo space are huge and will likely be empty most of the time but the real entertainment spaces are too small.

  3. Wow, you bashed something just because you couldn't grasp its design. After five minutes I muted your voices.

  4. Biggest design flaw is having the gym above the thermal spa. Last week on the prima, weights dropping was repetitive while relaxing on a heated lounger below.

  5. The light and interior is designed to give energy, and done in norwegian colorscheme.. It is supposed to be bright. Alot of natural daylight and the lights are mimicing sunlight. The colors are toned down to be stressfree, unlike other older ships that fills you senses to the max in an awful Las Vegas/UK-styled colorscheme.. There is places around the ship like Los Lobos that gives your senses a colorboost. This featured ship is designed to lighten your senses, refreshing and gives you more energy during your stay onboard. Since you guys clearly seem to want a colorful flamboyant caotic rainbow ship, i suggest you find an older ship next time, where your stay drains on your energy and you need a vacation after the cruise to recover. Clearly you guys are not in the segment of clients this ship is aiming for. And the speciality restaurants and the entertainment venues are just there for people like you that thinks a cruise on this ship is ment to be overload your senses. It is not. This cruiseship is there to be calming from a stressful daily life, a place to stress down and recharge your energylevel. Not to overload your senses. Lower your shoulders, forget time, and don't excpect to be entertained 100% of the time 24/7. There is more seating than number of passengers in the restaurants combined, instead of cramping several houndreds in a few restaurants where noise and stressful atmosphere ruins your stay, treated as kettle, there is plenty of smaller restaurants that offers a more soothing experience. Again, you are not part of the segments of clients.

  6. I absolutely love your videos but I can never make it to the end I always fall asleep listening to bens soothing and relaxing voice 😂

  7. Love all your reviews guys, thank you so much for bringing the experience right to everyone here! I know each ship is different and there are plenty to like about each ship in every cruise line, but I'm wondering do you have a favorite ship/line that you secretly measure every other ship against? Like that one ship that never disappoints; I've never cruised but your peeks inside the sea experience is so inspiring. Thanks again!

  8. Hi guys, I'm the solo guitarist on the Viva and I did 8 months opening / being on the Prima. I have to agree with all the comments here, especially about the spaces for performers (I play the Metropolitan and the Atrium bar). Trust me, it is unpleasant for us too when we are singing in the atrium and can only see about 30 people, knowing that many others hear us but don't see us. On the Prima they have actually tried moving some of the solo and duo performers in the deck 6 Atrium to be up against the big white wall that is the staircase moving up to deck 7 and 8, that way if you are on deck 7 and 8 in the space around Starbucks or above on the shop etc. you can see the performer. Also, I spoke with someone who shared that the next ship in this class is going to be longer due to a different engine requiring a longer midship space, and NCL has already talked about making the midship venues (like Syd Normans and Improv) bigger, and putting in an actual stages for the lounge musicians in spots like the Metro. So here's hoping that happens to help fix some of those issues that we knew about from the Prima, but couldn't fix on the Viva because it was basically finished already by the time the Prima started sailing. Happy to chat more if you wanted to.

  9. I love watching you guys, you’re so entertaining. I find that your honest on your commentary, it could be that’s another reason why I watch you. I like this NCL. The one we boarded was not so nice and the staffs looks so overworked n underpaid. I love cruising with celebrity, the others are ok but not as fav, but I had not tried Queen Mary. All the best to you guys.

  10. How much square footage is dedicated to retail and specialty dining? Seems to limit the availability of common spaces.

  11. For those interested, at the time of the video the ship was moored in Salerno, Italy. Five km from Cava de' Tirreni and 5 km from Amalfi Coast.

  12. Been hanging with Ben and David all day (& part of the night). Love these two and their mom!

  13. Lol…. US malls aren't dying, they're just moving to "ships"…. this doesn't look like it will age well

  14. Certainly one of the most beautifully designed ship I've seen, giving the Celebrity Edge class ships a run for their money, but my biggest beef based on what I see is why do they bother with the race track? It completely ruins the feel of the ship, and reduces space that could be better utilized. I realize Norwegian wants the family money, but they have other ships that already provide amenities like race tracks and water slides. Wouldn't this ship have been better as a more adult oriented experience?

  15. We were on the Prima in July, I thought all the. Venues were too small. The outside areas on deck 8 would be great on a warm weather cruise, but in the North Sea it was completely useless. I loved the itinerary but I will not be on one of these ships in a cold area ever again.

  16. The ship looks sterile and soulless. Whilst it does look amazing it's just corridor after corridor with stuff placed in them and bland walls. I fear that this look will not age well.

  17. BEAUTIFUL SHIP!!! I am so disappointed there are not enough seats and pool area is so small. Btw…I like both cream and Jam on my scone. Happy Wednesday and thanks for the great knowledge. Sincerely, Michele from Canada

  18. Have just finished back to backs on the NCL Prima, Getaway and Viva. The Viva and Prima are certainly more than a step above the older ships. Totally agree on the seating and noticed they have made small changes for more seating on the Viva, but still not enough. The new ships are certainly beautiful and we enjoyed both new ships.

  19. Hi was docked next to this ship last week in Greece. Looks very massive. Didn’t see anyone on slide. Inside looks very sterile as u described Thanks for great tour
