If you are a woman over 50 who is either in peri-menopause, menopause, or post-menopause chances are you may have begun to put on weight. You may have tried everything under the sun with diets, and exercise, and have had little to no results.
I was curious to learn about intermittent fasting but was reluctant to try it because I am a foodie and thought I’d starve. But I decided to go for it and I have to say I feel and look much better. However, giving up food groups, like Keto, didn’t work for me and isn’t very conducive to the American lifestyle that is very carb-friendly.
But I was also intrigued by the Italian eating style which is sort of a version of intermittent fasting but much more enjoyable. Disclaimer – I am not in any way Italian but love Italy’s cuisine. Who doesn’t?
