    such a beautiful country; so tragic that f*cking germany destroyed it, together with those a*sholes from the corrupt EU. 😢fat bald germans were jealous, & had to take it out on a country that was looking too gorgeous for their taste. 😠

    Hope there is another volcanic eruption soon. In the 1960's this was a simple place with donkeys and no tourists. Now it is full of Americans and Koreans with nothing better to do.

    You need to be able bodied as there are many flights of steps in Santorini but it's a lovely place.

    Whatever you do there, please do NOT support the donkey rides! These donkeys are very heavily mistreated every day. They are not able to drink water that they need, while riding steps non stop for 12 hours a day in the very hot sun. There is no animal protection service there, but there should be!!!

    I went to Santorini last September, and going back there in three weeks time for 10 day. I would say the Sunset Boat Trip is the best way to see the Sunset. Oia was heaving with people trying to get that Insta shot of the setting sun, so we paid 95 euros for the boat, meal and drink. Some really good restaurants, one I would recommend is Pelican Kipos, quality food and a good price as well. Some would say Santorini is over rated, its not, its a jewel of the Aegean. One island that is very chilled, with a lovely night time atmosphere, well worth the visit
