It’s day 3 of our cruise on the Disney Magic and it’s a day at sea! This morning we are going to do something we’ve never done on a Disney cruise before – eat at Palo for brunch. Many people say it’s better than dinner which seems impossible to us because Palo dinner is the best meal at sea. Today we are going to find out! We’ll have some fun around the ship including watching babies race each other in Jack Jack’s Incredible Diaper Dash. We’ll try to go swimming in the adult only Quiet Cove pool but Mother Nature might have other plans. And tonight they are celebrating the Silver Anniversary at Sea, this ship and Disney Cruise Line’s 25th anniversary. We’ll eat at the Beauty and the Beast-themed restaurant Lumière’s before heading to the pool deck to watch the 25th anniversary fireworks show with Mickey and friends. Come with us on this adventure!

I’ve always had a special connection to this ship. I was brought in to help design the christening with Bette Midler. Tinkerbell was going to fly out and release the champagne bottle to christen the Magic, we had a massive production with video walls, amazing lighting etc for the nighttime launch. The delivery of the ship kept getting pushed back more and more into the summer. The key was getting the media coverage back to the studios in order for it to hit the 10 PM news. It ended up that we had to cut all of the nighttime effects (Including Tinkerbell) as it was still light outside when we had to do everything for media. At least I did get to sail on her a few times over the years and loved every moment of that!

Another awesome video, y'all!!! Question: If you're willing to pay, can you eat all your meals at Palo or do you only get one booking for the entire sailing? (I heard you mention something about using your one Palo experience for dinner instead of lunch, but I wasn't clear if you meant – if you can only afford to go once, then go for dinner OR if you mean they will literally bar you from going into the place more than once?) Assuming you mean you can only go once period, does that change if you're in one of the expensive suite rooms or if you're a frequent sailor-gold-diamond-medallion-Mickey-Club-whatever?
lol key limes aren't a gimmick, they're different from regular limes. they're the tiny ones you see at the grocery store near the normal, bigger limes. they're a bit more floral and aromatic, a touch sweeter (but still quite sour). they taste surprisingly different, though you might have to taste them back to back to really realize it.

I love your videos, and like cruise ships, but sometimes they don't like me. Just one question I get sea sick on boat rides. The arm bands that you are wearing on your wrist, do they help with the sea sickness. I like to be on a boat, tryed the Dramamine, makes me sleepy. And ginger helps a little.

18:00 Fun Fact: The medallion that they are giving to the baby is actually the same medallion they gave out to the very first Castaway Kay 5K. This was over 20 years ago on the Disney Magic and I ran the inaugural run. Back then you had to run the 5K and it was timed. It required reservations and it sold out (even though it was free). You had to get up at like 4am to get ready for the run! Now guests do it on their own without any verification so anyone can just say that they did it and grab the rubber medallion which is much nicer than when I got 20 years ago pictured here.
As an avid viewer from Indonesia, I was pleasantly delighted with the presence of Indonesian cruise ship members working there!

Hope you found the churro waffles! We just had them at Crystal Palace in WDW and they were delicious!! Didn’t even need syrup but I still used it 🤣
