Welcome to the day 6 highlights video of our Greek Isles cruise aboard Royal Caribbean’s Odyssey of the Seas! Join me, as we sail through the Strait of Messina, nestled between the enchanting shores of Sicily and mainland Italy, for a day of excitement and relaxation.
After three bustling port days, we welcomed the tranquility of a sea day, complemented by an extra hour gained as we re-entered Italy. We kicked off the morning with an invigorating workout session in the nearly deserted fitness center.
Our day continued with a very interesting presentation at Two70, Captain’s Corner. This allowed us to delve into the inner workings of Odyssey of the Seas and gain insight into the remarkable technology driving the ship’s maneuvers.
Afterwards, we enjoyed some Laser Tag action again, and we then spent the afternoon at the top deck, relaxing and sunbathing, watching the World’s Sexiest Man Competition, and finally some FlowRider fun. We watched the Stand Up Surfing Best of the Best competition, as skilled riders showcase their tricks and talents on the waves.
After dinner, we went back to the top deck to watch the ship sailing through the Strait of Messina. The shimmering sunset adorned both Sicily and Calabria, creating a captivating ambiance.
To cap off this unforgettable day, we ventured to the theater for the Royal Caribbean in-house show The Effectors. The show dazzled with its remarkable talent and stunning visuals, leaving us in awe.
