I have to be honest,the dining room food looks awful. That's the main reason we prefer Celebrity. We booked tomorrow's cruise because the ship looked so amazing,but the food looks no better than our last P&O cruise which I swore would be my last. We will see.

I'm going on Iona in a few weeks time, looking at the various vloggers videos on the MDR menu I think I might struggle. They got rid of the "always available" options. Got a feeling we'll be doing like you did, hopping between places for food. Coral service and food looked disappointing, no real excuse for such long delays each time, they should have got it sorted before fare paying passengers came on board. WiFi…. Again, it's becoming obvious p&o have not embraced available technology, even the so called app is just an internal intranet site not a custom app. After building such a beautiful ship it's a pity such things haven't been addressed yet. Time will tell if it improves. Really like your style of presentation, it's real life as you see it, keep up the great work guys 👍
After cruising on Royal c. and Princess we found P&O a big disappointment…

Thank you for posting these reviews. We are considering booking a cruise with our double vaccine jabbed 16 year old son. There
are spaces on both Iona and anthem of the seas. Which would you recommend please ?
The electronic tablets seemed to go down at around 7pm causing stress to the servers who were not able to get their orders(they kept going to the kitchen and the orders weren't there) and had to resort to rewriting them on paper. The end of the week was massively improved as we noticed a tech guy in the restaurant ready to trouble shoot! I felt so sorry for them.
The no children puts me off as I defo couldn’t cruise with out my daughter we going on anthem on the 29th August for 7 nights
Your video confirms to me that maiden cruises and the first 2 or 3 months of a new ship are to be avoided to allow for all the bugs to be ironed out, hopefully anyway. Interesting video on Iona eateries, though I am surprised that P&O allowed JP in one of the main dining rooms for dinner and in the Headliners Theatre, still wearing his baseball cap. Could there a change in the P&O dress code I wonder. By the way there are clinics available where JP can have the hat surgically removed if needs be. 😀
I was on the maiden voyage and the virtual booking for the Coral Restaurant does not work for single passengers as it always comes up not enough persons in your party. As for the wifi this was not good and it was no better paying for the Satelite Internet

Wonderful video! I love seeing the different restaurants and hearing your reviews! A comedy show would be a great way to end the night.
We took my 92 year old mum on this cruise, we all loved it, we ate in the Coral without any problems, the waiters were so good with mum and I have a salt intolerance that they easily catered for. Lovely waiters very friendly
It is rude to wear a hat inside
it was the same on Britannia long queues, delay in the restaurants, menu reduced app rubbish
Update: we just just spent a week on board Iona and used Coral and Pearl dining rooms twice each, the slow service must have been fixed because on every visit the service was consistently fast, in fact the quickest we've experienced on any ship. So yeah, I reckon it got fixed, not a problem any more, teething issues as you suspected. One of the waiters did tell us the kitchens for the rear restaurant are located a long way from the tables and they have to use an escalator each time, very unusual to hear a staff member complaining of the ship design so openly. We also did afternoon tea in Aqua and again lightening fast service. Our ship was only half capacity at the time. Hope this info might settle any concerns future cruisers may have . Your videos are always honest and open so I felt it reasonable to give this update. Thanks for your great vlogs guys, really enjoy your content it's been so useful. Happy travels 👍

Experience with full drinks package anyone?? We are not big drinkers but like a couple of pints a day or a couple of glasses of wine. Maybe a cheeky cocktail. Really don’t know whether to invest in drinks package or not?? Pete
Thanks for sharing . Love the room and the cute window, I’d definitely book one. Out of interest in the main dining rooms can you order two different mains or desserts if you can’t choose like you can on Princess cruises?
