  1. Can you please make some recommendations on restaurants to go to? Not super expensive, but authentic and worth visiting? Thanks

  2. I agree – take the Metro, folks! If you want to experience the real Paris, this is the way to do it. It is fast, efficient, economical, and super easy to use (well okay, some stations are easier to navigate than others, but the system itself is very user friendly.) The only issue I have with the Metro for first time visitors is that you miss a lot of the city while you're underground so sometimes, depending on the route, the bus might be a better choice just because you can see some sights while you're riding. But Ubers and taxis are not necessary in Paris for the most part.

  3. Although it is easy to move around via metro. I'd still recommend on finding a Hotel in a decent place. After all Paris is the most dangerous of the major touristic cities in Europe

  4. I hate it when people say “Paris Metro is super easy.” No it absolutely isn’t, there is a learning curve. Some stations have the same name except it’s hyphenated, running around the subway following signs, then the signs disappear is not uncommon, learning the RER on top of the metro can be confusing. It’s not rocket science but I wouldn’t tell people who have may have never experienced a big city metro that the Paris Metro is super easy.

  5. I walked aroun a not so touristy spot, sat at cafe, people watched for an hour. It was the most mindful I’ve been in awhile. I’ve made up in my mind I will be returning.

  6. I disagree about hotel breakfast…if the room is priced competitively and breakfast buffet is included I always take it. Especially because foreign hotel breakfast buffets are healthy eating, unlike the garbage served in American hotels.

  7. hi y’all! I’m going to study abroad in Paris in July and not gonna lie I’m a bit terrified. I know some French but not enough. Any advice or affirmations)

  8. I go for 3 days trip to Paris, those Idiot french ask me to speak in French and look at us like a shit!! country won't become beautiful just landscpe or attractions, peoople heart should be attrative! I never visit again France!

  9. In France generally have the plat du jour for lunch. Use the Routiers.
You can have a 4 course meal with wine and coffee for €15. You'd struggle to shop and cook that for yourself.

  10. And try the French cuisine. I live in France now and every summer we get American tourists who stick to eating burgers, pizzas, steak.
What a loss. Jump in, try something unusual, go to a small restaurant with no, or a limited, lunchtime choice….pot luck. You may be surprised.

  11. I just returned from Paris and traffic can be pretty terrible. So try not to take cabs or you will waste time… also, at night cabs will drive up the cost almost triple. The only scam we came across was one petition scam near the eiffel tower and we knew to say no to that. We stayed in the 8th but avoided the Champs Elysees. Montmartre and the Latin Quarter were our favorite areas. We also liked walking the seine. We visited the Louvre and Versailles and did a dinner river cruise with Bordoux Mouches and I highly recommend it. Our least favorite area was St. Germain. Many people told us to stay there even but we found that the locals in his area were not very welcoming towards Americans. Especially in the cafés and reataurants.

  12. I have to say breakfasts at the hotels are great if you are lazy. I won't have to hunt for food first thing in the morning and often it's all you can eat, making the new to pay for a substantial lunch less later.

  13. Hello there to all the viewers if you are traveling what ever he is saying doesn’t make sense, don’t use the public transportation it’s crazy you can waste your whole day traveling in the metro and train then seeing anything . It takes at least 1 hour from what ever point you want to go
