  1. Would you eat at the main dining room if you were traveling solo? Why or why not?! Let me know in the comments!

  2. Thank you for sharing this lovely video. I also found dining like a restaurant now, and hope I can request a low sodium diet.

I do enjoy dining solo because it is peaceful, and sometimes end up meeting people at the next table which is sometimes very close.
I also hope to cruise differently next time and skip events to be on me time. I’ll be in Alaska looking for the Northern lights from the stern.

  3. Hi and thanks for your video. I'm sailing Princess and going solo for the first time next January on Regal Princess. I've been single for many years now, but still hate eating dinner alone. I don't want to be seated with a couple or a family. But, don't want to end up in the buffet every night either. I don't think I could make it till 8:40 every night….lol. Hopefully they can accommodate me somewhere around 6. We shall see.

  4. All the meals looks delicious ! One day I may find myself being a solo cruiser. In video you said you don’t drink, neither do I, so I’m wondering how that goes over at the bar meet up for solo cruisers? I can refuse and refuse a drink offer, but what’s your nonalcoholic drink of choice at the bars? Thanks for sharing solo cruising dinning tips! 🛳️🛳️

  5. I don't mind eating at the buffet by myself, but there's something about the main dining room especially on formal night that I prefer traditional dining with table mates or shared table as Princess calls it. Are there shared tables at specialty restaurant?

  6. No problemo! Bring a book or magazine to read while you wait to be served with though. It’s a win-win.

  7. I’ve traveled solo for many of my journeys.
I usually like to watch while eating. I find people begin to talk to me.
I made wonderful friends to the couple next to me on the Crown Princess , July in Alaska, same at breakfast , people tables next to me would start talking to me.
The food was the same menue on the Crown.
I’m on the Caribbean Princess in January.

I always let the Matra ‘d know I would like the same table. I usuall set up dinner times on app before boarding.

    Great video.
