Maybe make a dough (flour and water) and run it through? Hopefully the play dough will stick to it and come out. Otherwise, toothpicks may be an option?
If you go to the 2:50 mark it will show you how to take that part off and clean it really well.

Any of the above (below?) and/or try a can of compressed air (often used for cleaning keyboards or electronics).

I’d make a dough and run it through several times hoping that the Play-Doh will stick, and come out. I would also get a toothbrush out, and after running the dough through several times it may slightly moist and the Play-Doh to point where you could potentially brush it out with a dry bush.
Play-Doh is water-based, but you certainly don’t want to soak it. If you still have stubborn crusty Play-Doh in there, possibly a paintbrush with a little water might loosen a stubborn hardened bit, but I would be really careful with it.
At least Play-doh is non toxic. Maybe make some spinach pasta first, so if there’s a few blue pieces in there nobody will notice.

I use compressed air to get dried stuff out, maybe it would work for playdough as well.
