  1. As children We we’re often told by my mother that if we misbehaved she would “Stomp us into the middle of next week” We believed her !!!! And that was enough to keep us on the straight and narrow. So thankful I had parents who loved me enough to set boundaries and discipline me when I needed it . Grateful that I had parents instead of “friends” for parents .

  2. Raised in an Italian/Sicilian family.
My mom would been like hold on.
Then proceed to beat the shit outta me lol
Or you would here" HEY! YOU WANT ME TO TAKE YOU OUTSIDE!"

  3. Running around a restaurant would NEVER have even crossed my mind. Misbehaving IN PUBLIC would gotten me smacked IN PUBLIC.

  4. So damn true! My parents would slap me into next week, and wait for the weekend if I ever misbehaved in a restaurant! Lol

  5. "The other day I had a craving for nuts… so I went shopping with my Wife and her Mother." 🤣

  6. We got the stern look and a knock on the head … no way I let my kids get away with that crap either. You are so funny!

  7. People always talking about “this generation is horrible”… bruh they aren’t raising themselves 😂👀

  8. There was absolutely no way we were allowed to run, scream, or throw a tantrum in any public place. Ever!

  9. Sebastian can turn "anything" into something funny! He is truly blessed with this gift!

  10. My mum would have embarrassed me in front of everyone if I did that.

When my daughter is being too noisy around others in a public place, I just tell her “stop shouting! It’s annoying! You know all these people are thinking who’s that annoying kid!” Meanwhile, all the yuppie, hipster parents look at me with disdain but I don’t care screw them. My daughter is very well behaved and much more so than their kids and a lovely kind-hearted girl and I like to think I am the same. I thank my mum for that.

  11. I am distracted every time I watch a clip from this performance by that strange zip-up shirt/vest combo. It’s the weirdest thing I’ve ever seen.

  12. 😂😂😂 so funny but so true, and not only for Italian families, but most any other culture that values respectful and civilized behavior am I right? Sebastian Maniscalco is a gem, may he continue to entertain us for at least another 50 years. There's no retirement for talented comedians…..

  13. Late 1950's early 60's on the once in a blue moon we all went out to dinner our father would instruct us no noise no one leaves the seat. As sebastian said we would have physically been escorted out to the car and come back a new kid end of story

  14. Dad only needed to give us the look, we knew what was up. Definitely wouldn't have pulled some shit like that.

  15. Parents used to be parents. You didn't do it twice if you did it a first time.Actually, it was a pretty good strategy. And my father was not Italian. Just knew how to raise kids who were good people.

  16. 😄😄 My Dad rarely hit us. He would yell at us in his Scottish accent "I'll bat yer bloody ears back!" 😄😄 Me and my brothers knew better than to mess with Dad!

  17. I liked Seb's acting in "About My Father," but I can tell from the comments that this specific clip would suck if I watched it.

  18. A few people I respect. Anthony Stephenson on Quora, Jordan Riak, perhaps even Chris Grayling and Colin Craig.
As an aside, Jim Lange, David Downs and Michael Tiller, may they all rest in peace. Thankfully there is also the alive and well Dave Heller.

  19. And don't be fooled by my comments, I grew up just fine. This is just what happens when I get mad, is all. I'm fine without having been raised in a cult like almost all the other users here claim to have been.

  20. If you want kids who are seen and not heard, then be a parent who's deaf and not blind.
    He shoots, he scores! LOL!😂🤣
