I’m heading to Rome for a month and Italy for 6 weeks total in the fall. Can’t wait. This will be around my 8th time to Italy.
After watching your inspiring video, I don’t feel fabulous anymore😢… Sadly truth hurts…. My wife and I and two teenage kids are scheduled to arrive in Rome on 8 August for a 2 week holiday …. We had to choose August as it was the only time that the kids were available and not in school…. I just hope that some places will be open so we don’t go hungry…. Should we pack some food with us ? We love following your youtube channel and thanks for all your very informative advice… stay cool…..

So true, the first time I went to Utaly was on a cruise tour the last half of August. Rome was easy to get around because everyone was on vacation.

Hello, thanks for your videos. They helped me to plan my travel in Rome. Unfortunately, I have already scheduled my visit in Rome on the week of August 15. It was before I saw your vlog. By the way, I will be arriving in FCO airpot almost 12mn. I realized that there will be no trains available in this timing. Is it easy to take taxi (freenow as per your other vlog) from FCO to Rome city center at this timing (12mn-1am)? Thanks in advance.

I find it hard to understand why you do not recommend anyone to go to Sicily but not actually specify why. If you had a bad experience somewhere in Sicily for whatever reason it wouldn't mean that the whole of Sicily is not good. I have been to Sicily many times and we love it, best food and wines, great sights, beautiful towns to visit. I would highly recommend Sicily to anyone.
