STORYLINE:
Much of continental Europe continued to bake in the latest heat wave on Friday.

Records fell this summer as temperatures soared, leaving millions of people clamoring for relief.

Many flocked to water in an attempt to beat the heat as the broiling temperatures continued.

But one medical expert warns that taking a dip could be dangerous if you’re not well.

“People with health problems expose themselves in extreme heat conditions,” says heat expert Dimitris Haliotis.
