  1. I ate at Japes whilst visiting London. It's a fantastic pizza, but it's not a true 1 to 1 copy of Chicago style IMO. It tastes more like if a Chicago deep dish and a classic Italian style merged together. The result is something incredibly delicious, albeit not a true copy of either influence.

It's pizza; pizza is always goooooood!!

  2. Surely you need to try Chicago Deep Dish pizza in Chicago. I wouldn't judge steak pie if I was trying it in Ecuador.

  3. Please come to Chicago and try our pizzas, but from a Chicagoan a word of warning don't mention the words "Chicago style pizza" unless you have time for a very long and intense debate on what a Chicago style pizza actually is.

  4. Using knife and fork on a pizza is blasphemy? Go to Naples and eat the original Neapolitan margherita pizza, they give you the pizza whole with cutlery.. I swear Italians have no other personality than critisizing food they don't really know the history of

  5. Pizza.. you sure it looks more like yorkshire pudding… Or toad in the whole 🤣

  6. As an Italian-American that has traveled extensively through Italy, the way that Italians get outraged at Italian-American cuisine is cringe. The two cuisines split over 100 years ago. Do you know what else is cringe, that Italy is a failed fascist state that should have been occupied by allied forces indefinitely.

  7. I remember seeing @Pasta Grammar trying deep dish pizza and she describes the deep dish pizza as being a Torta Salata

  8. To be fair, none of these deep dish pizzas are even close to authentic Chicago deep dish. Another atrocity of British cuisine

  9. Italian says you never eat a pizza with a knife and fork is interesting as I distinctly remember seeing people eat pizza with a knife and fork when I visited Italy years ago.

  10. Italian says you never eat a pizza with a knife and fork is interesting as I distinctly remember seeing people eat pizza with a knife and fork when I visited Italy years ago.

  11. when are you guys going to try a philly cheese steak? also if you do remember a philly cheese steak doesnt come with peppers already in it. its optional

  12. To everybody in the UK, my grandpa emigrated from Wales, and I can just tell you that everybody who descended from the UK over here is NUTS for pizza. It's like the staple that all of us eat all the time, and we never, ever, ever get sick of it. Like friends can order pizza for delivery 7 nights in a row from different places and by the end of it, nobody will be particularly sick of pizza. The Italians might have started this pizza thing but let there be no doubt all of America has been busy in food laboratories across the nation perfecting and expanding the recipe. There is no restaurant anywhere that does not have pizza, and what's more, every culture will make their own variety of pizza! For instance you can go to an Asian food place and they will offer SUSHI pizza, or you can go to Baker's Square where they specialize in all types of pies and you can get a pie pizza. Go to a German area of the city where they sell sauerkraut schnitzels or whatever and yup you'll find pizzas on the menu. PIZZA FOR EVER!

  13. I discovered you 3 months ago. I am 76 and love your entertainment. I would like to suggest that you find an additional sub-genre within your videos. Most everything is food-oriented. You two are creative. What else can you investigate? Keep up the funny/good work. Sincerely, Leslie Yoder, Portland Oregon USA.

  14. 생일보다 많다는 소리에 머리가 띵했다 아 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 역시 너무 재밋어요

  15. "They found in pompeii the first depiction of a pizza, it looks exactly like that" (points at chicago breadbowl with tomato soup inside)
    Uhhh…..nah
Even when Max Miller remade it following both the depiction and some ancient writings, the Pompeii pizza is more like an unleavened flatbread which would be topped with a proto-Pesto sauce made of vegetables and garlic, dried fruits, cheese and honey, meant as an appetizer or drinking snack….definitively not a highly risen dough casserole with cheese sauce in the middle

  16. Thank you Mr Z for being nice enough to try these "blasphemous pizzas"! 😄
