Tips, surcharge, rising prices. They brought it upon themselves.
The prices are just ridiculous to go out and eat.
I don’t go downtown because of the homeless issue. I don’t go to Little Italy because of the parking issue. And the new restaurant in Old Town wants $18 for a particular drink? Are they insane?
"It's the economy, stupid!"
Being American is becoming unaffordable. Yes Europe is very unaffordable as well, but they at least won't go bankrupt if they need medical care.
It's not just prices. It's people, too. Downtown has become much more unpleasant in the past 3 years.
I hope they address the parking issue as well. It’s annoying driving around in circles looking for a space on an empty stomach.
Rent too high to support local businesses
We eat out 5 times a week as we invested well for 50 years 🎉
I belch TOO LOUD, and fart TOO MUCH to go to restaurants. I either cook or fast-food it.
3 years ago, I ate out often. Now when I leave the restaurant, I feel robbed. Not enjoyable. I eat from Mexican food trucks. best food and people ever🌮🌮
Ridiculously increased rent prices makes it unaffordable to support local businesses like restaurants in San Diego not to mention tipping everywhere.
Honestly i think we need more COVID moneys checks to fix this.
