Next year I will be hosting a painting retreat at the stunning Tenuta di Sticciano estate in Italy’s beautiful Chianti wine region. Booking will be available to the public on 24th July, however there are only 18 places available so I have taken the opportunity to offer this to my followers on the various social media media platforms ahead of 24th as a thank you for your ongoing support.
The most important points are listed below, but please use the following link to the travel company’s website for further details and the booking link, which is open now:

Being familiar with my approach to painting the landscape in watercolour, you will have begun to appreciate my preferred way of teaching; I want you to gain confidence in your own skills and styles, by practising techniques that will encourage you to create, rather than copy. This emphasis will run through the week as we look at how to find inspiration in this wonderful landscape, using our own observations and assisted by our own sketches and photographs, as well as painting outdoors, directly from the subjects themselves. We will gain experience in how to interpret the landscape and develop strategies to help plan our watercolour paintings and enhance their visual impact.
