  1. When I make the shlep to Little Italy, I have found Puglia's to be extremely consistent and extremely American, but in a 1950's kinda way. My daughter said she kept expecting to see Sinatra walk through the door any minute.

  2. that's the Italian propaganda, like China-nese propaganda, telling you everything else is a dialect.

  3. I call myself the Black Italian 😂 Italian cuisine is my favorite. I do love going to lil Italy when I’m in NYC I have found a couple of very good small restaurants there. I will definitely visits these stores the next time

  4. Hey Barr, this question has nothing to do with Little Italy. You did a video awhile back about restaurants & this one place think you ordered a hamburger, but for dessert you ordered this huge sundae. It was HUGE! Video was made before the lockdown. I tried to find it, but no luck. Do you remember this? Made me realize been a fan of your channel for over 4 years! Dang! Thanks!

  5. Actually Fettuccine Alfredo is Italian although Italians doesn't used to call them like this but it seems a dish made up in the restaurant Alfredo alla Scrofa in Rome, nowadays other restaurant in Rome started to make because as a consequence of American tourist demands, but I will say Italian version is different than the American one.

  6. The iittle Italy in MANHATTAN is way over priced and I refuse to pay their prices because they want 3 dollars for a water when it should be 1 dollar not worth it I can make my own. CHINATOWN IS right there Many deals too be found, you have to know where to go

  7. Restaurant plates have more plate than food . Get some food on there. 21 dollars , come on.

  8. You should definitely mention this recipe on khal as it would be loved by a lot of people, so don't forget to add it

  9. Would love to hear a real Italian comment on the term "gravy" or not pronouncing the entire word like Muzzarell or Proshoot…

  10. Well, the song is actually called "Nel blu dipinto di blu" and not "Volare", but that's a common mistake, I also thought it was called that when I was younger 😉

  11. Fettuccine Alfredo were invented in Rome in the restaurant "Alfredo alla Scrofa". It's still in the city centre of the city…

  12. Italian American foods are not Italian foods at all, just like American Chinese food is not Chinese food. It's neither good or bad but just different.
