Just wanted to add, I am not paid by Carnival for anything, and I paid for my cruise.

I would say your review is right on target. We were on the inaugural cruise in June and agree the activities are lacking during the day.
I have a cruise on the Venezia in January, and I appreciate this review. I do like trivia, so I'm happy that way. I also got an inexpensive upgrade to a Terrazza Cabana, which I've always wanted to try, so I'm excited that.

Almost everything I've heard or watched about the Venezia was been good. The staff is wonderful (I read that they will go over and above for you) The food looks so delicious. And the ship looks so beautiful.
I am going with no expectations. Maybe it's because I work with the public and I know you cant make eveyone happy no matter what you do. I am going to relax, hopefully meet some wonderful people, and have lots of fun and laughs.🎉
Hi Dee, my wife and I were on the same cruise. For the most part I agree with your review, (especially the entertainment and service) however we were disappointed with MDR. Main issue were the long waits while using the app. The app went down a couple of times as well. Also thought the MDR food was not up to Carnival standards. We had a couple of meals that were either over or undercooked. Other than those complaints, it was a wonderful cruise! Thanks!
