  1. Truly the epitome of "Couldn't make this up if I wanted to"
The horse prank especially was way funnier to me than it had any reason to be XD

  2. I thought he was going to go into an explanation of Don Quixote from the nobles that travel

  3. Joe Medicine Crow would be a good story, anthropologist, author, actual war chief of the Crow tribe. Plus his script on Little Big horn is still used for reenactments today.

  4. I wrote to Nicholas Cage about Mad Jack Mytton. That he should do a movie about him and he play the role of Mad Jack. Idk I think he has the psycho capability to play the role. Either that or Zach Galifianakis, Charlie Sheen, Tom Cruise, Leonardo DiCaprio, Shia LeBeouf, etc

  5. Some of his parties were so wild he would dress up like a highway man (robber) then rob his guests just to scare them. They put up with it because his parties were always off the chain. Booze flowing, money throwing, and basically lived like a rockstar. He use to bury money around his property then would forget where it was and locals loved it because they would go dig it up. Also would pay kids would be paid to roll down the hill to where he would laugh at him

  6. Hey, I'd like you to share the story of the Gleam of Ireland, Grainne Mhaol. That would be something else, trust me. I'll spoil nothing, just know, that "women were chattel in the middle ages" is… somewhat difficult so square with her tale.

If you're taking requests, I won't mince words, trust me, it'll be great, just look into it!

  7. You should do Jeffrey Hudson aka Lord minimus, Charles I’s court dwarf, flees England during the civil war, is kicked out of France for shooting a man in the face and then is kidnapped by Barbary pirates for decades

  8. Remember: Port isn't just wine, it's fortified wine, so it's a decent amount higher alcohol content. The whole point of why the English (and others) liked it was that it stored for a lot longer on ships than normal wine.

  9. That level of alcoholism has not changed for both the nobility and commoners going to uni😂

  10. I have never heard such a Ludacris yet true and somehow incomplete story of anything!
this is one of my most favorite videos of you yet! screw actual decisive and important parts of history I think we all need to just hear a hilarious story like this every once in a while.
don't stop what you are already doing but every few videos just make one of these funny sidetracks of a random guy who we would never believe actually existed if not for credible sources that please list in the description so we wont have to go five hours fact checking the existence of a man who lived more than 200 years ago!

by incomplete I only mean the stuff you glossed over in his early life after which you focused on the actual interesting parts of his life and really the stuff you can make a video on and not just a comment

  11. Just to warn you, Porto Wine is not a wine to drink with meals. Or even a whole glass of wine! (can be quite sweet). We can almost consider it a liqueur, more than a wine. In Portugal it serves to accompany the end of the meal which we call the digestif.

  12. I don’t get to read as much anymore, so this channel really helps with my learning.

  13. There's a cliche in romance novels. Some young man always inherits an estate deep in debt because of their predecessor who just didn't give a damn. Yeah, this is that guy. The guy who ruined everything for the guy who came after him.

  14. If you want a stronger case for fair use, make sure to comment on the video as much as possible

  15. You should totally do an episode on Mad Jack Churchill, an English soldier who went ashore at Normandy wielding a Scottish Broadsword and is credited with the only killing of an enemy soldier with an English Longbow. From what little I know of the guy, he was a very interesting character – perfect for a feature about a guy who's just downright weird.

  16. I love your videos especially the longer non podcasts a good 20 to 30 minutes of learning with your humor is a great listen
