We went to one of the best and most beautiful restaurants in Florence, Chic Nonna di Vito Mollica. This Michelin star restaurant gave us what’s probably one of the best meals of our year. Chef Vito Mollica has the kitchen all other kitchens should envy and he knows what to do with it, all tucked inside Palazzo Portinari Salviati
We started our evening with Matteo in the bar, tasting Campari shakers and iconic Negronis before moving into the stunning dining room to experience Chef Vito’s work surrounded by beautiful decor and 500 year old art on the ceiling. From incredible seafood, a silky risotto and the most delicate desserts, we dined with the most incredible Tuscan wines to match.

Yes, I do think Florence is really that good. This place looked that picturesque, everything from the food to the kitchen looked sublime! Honestly cant wait for the 48hrs in Florence! Nice to see you guys really enjoying the finer things and not being a few too many beverages deep! But we do love that too!

You will never find good food in a high end restaurant. These type of restaurants are all style, no substance.
