The DCA event sounds AMAZING!!! Glad you guys are finally doing something in CA! 💖 (Sad I heard about it so last minute. I'm too broke to make it. 😭)
(I don't even know if I'll make it to a Disney park in the 100th anniversary of the company. 😔)
I attended Taylor Swift's Eras Tour on opening night!!! 💖💖💖 (Unfortunately, the merch I wanted was sold out, so I HAD TO order online, which took 3 months to get here!)
I need to make it to Epcot for Food & Wine sometime.
Tupperware is a great idea!
Lucky Fortune Cookery? Sounds like Disney got Japan and China mixed up in their heads.
I'm so happy to see Ryno hosting. He does a stellar job. He's so warm and engaging.
Ryno … how old are you ….?
The talk should be disney no other things
Loved the show- like always! Such a fun group. Keep up the great work!! BTW if I ever meet you in the park I will make sure to tell you my name a couple of times and where I’m from – lol!
I am already packing, too, Ryno! This will be my first DIS event ever and I even talked my husband into leaving our teen/preteen kids in the hotel and coming along with me!
I just got home from lunch at a diner where I stuffed myself on fried pickles! Yum-oh!
Julie has the best style. You all should do some Disney style videos with her. I bet she could come up with some good ideas for a sophisticated way to bound.
Im a huge fan but this podcast is getting a bit long. 16 minutes before hearing any disney talk. Find myself listening less and less lately
I unlocked a car, got in, and started it before looking into the rear view mirror and seeing a baby seat in the back. My identical car was one space down.
This was a great episode! Thanks for opening up and sharing a bit about your lives each week. I watch this because you all feel like friends! I’d hate it if you just read the Disney news. I can do that on my own thank you 🙂 Keep up the amazing work! ❤
I'll be in Disneyland for the first time with a friend August 5-7, will keep my eyes peeled for you!
This Crew is my favorite…. Ryno,Craig.Julie and Erica….. they are great!!!! But during the sgow all I could think of was Erica and her two dads doing food reviews!!! Too funny!!!!! Keep up the great work guys love the show!!!!! But I do miss Pete!!!
Julie Martin needs to tone it down. She may be a lovely lady but her laugh and continual talk is a bit overwhelming. Erika doesn't get a word in.
Wish Panda could have stayed. Really liked Ryno, Craig, Erika and him as a team.
Julie is at that point where I'll likely skip the show when she's on but oh well free entertainment
Regarding Disney stating the Hatbox Ghost isn’t being added to the Haunted Mansion, I work in PR, often journalists reach out asking me to confirm when a restaurant is opening in their town. Often times I have to say we don’t have a specific date slated as the opening date could be pushed back due to a variety of issues. Maybe Disney had to say ‘no’ due to the possibility of installation issues.
Love the show! You guys are great!
I am happy with Ryno, Craig & Erica. You need only need one more person to add to the chemistry and Julie is not it. She interrupts too much! lol. Great show guys.
I’m going to get a sign for my front door… “We’re a dill household” 😂💙
tell Pete we miss his solo show, please.
Julie is so fun! Love it when Ryno hosts, but man, Craig is always such a bummer.
My daughter who is a vegetarian and enjoys many of the plant based versions would totally disagree that there are more options at Disneyland than Disney World. She is lucky as she was not totally bound by just plant based but was really disappointed in how many places her option was some form of a veggie burger. She finds more than enough tasty things at Disney World that are not a veggie burger. I also was baffled about why everyone talks about how great the food was at Disneyland. We had one great meal at Lamplighters for Brunch with the Mimosa Flight. We enjoyed the grilled cheese and soup at Jolly Holiday Bakery. The had one dessert overall that we did thinks was so phenomenal that we had it twice which was the Pride Macaron. Hibiscus buttercream and a tart berry jam which I still dream about. Otherwise everything was over rated IMO. I come home from my annual Disney World trip with many memorable meals.
So Erica, do you remember when we met?
The show just isn't the same anymore. I miss the old shows not just because of Pete, but because of the always changing guests. My kids and I used to love listening to the live show right after I picked them up from school. I'm sad to say I've been watching less and less lately. I understand things will always change, but this show has gone in the wrong direction. And that's not to take away from the talent of the current cast. It just doesn't feel right.
It’s sad how little exciting news there is for Disney parks. Meanwhile you could make Universal news / speculation videos everyday with all of their upcoming additions.
Thank goodness Erica is on to give vegan point of views/reviews for food in the parks. Helps
also with my relatives with food allergies.
I love the dis but Pete needs to hire some people so Craig ryno and Erica don’t have to do everything from this show to food and park vlogs and universal. I prefer off the rails to this show For this show Stay on point news rapid fire then a discussion about a topic. Seems like there’s no loose script or the show is 25% Disney and 75% chatter. Love Julie but someone please adjust her mike. I had to keep turning the volume up and down because she’s so loud. Thanks have a good week
I love the energy whenever Julie is on the show!
thank you for a great show.
I've read all the comments and have a few of my own. This was episode 1,226 and I have probably listened to or watched 1,200 of them. Started back when it was just a pre-recorded podcast, then when it became a live podcast, and then when it transitioned over to video, and then live video. I definitely agree with the observation of @ScottUllmann when he says that a bigger panel makes for a better show. I remember when the studio was reconfigured primarily because the space had become too crowded for the number of people squeezed around the table. More voices make for a better chorus. I did read Craig's comment regarding the small number of people in Central Florida right now, so I understand the staffing issue. I have absolutely no knowledge of how the employment at The DIS works, and why certain people come and go, but it is clear that when some of the best panel members leave, the show suffers. JeniLyn, Deni, Dustin and Steve Porter were all DIS Hall of Fame inductees and when talent like that leaves, it is hard to replace it. There must be good reasons why people like this are quit or are dismissed, but an organization cannot lose people like this unnoticed. Talent retention needs to be a stronger focus here. As for the people who are still here, I don't have a bad word to say about any of them. They all have their strengths and unique personalities. But the show would profit from having more of them. I do prefer a "News", "Open Discussion" , "Rapid Fire" format, and when John hosts, that seems to be the standard course. The show would benefit from a set format irrespective of who is hosting. Finally, with all the changes that have come to WDW with virtual lines, Lightning Lanes. Genie+, I would like to see a bit more focus on the actual guest experience while in the parks. Josh at easyWDW used to publish a daily account of how things were operating and was great at giving first hand accounts of what guests could expect when they visit. But alas, we lost Josh. So every now and then, even if it doesn't seem topical, it would be great to hear from the team as to how a particular attraction is functioning. The website has lots of POV videos of rides, but not as much discussion as there could be where people could relay their specific experiences. For example, just pick a ride like Guardians, visit it the way a typical guest would visit it, then on the show, explain how it was operating, what you experienced, tips for beating the crowds, etc. Maybe even splice in some video. The following week, focus on another ride, like Tron. Tips on visiting WDW are way more important to the listeners than stories about finding one's car in a parking lot. Just saying. I have no criticism of any podcast member. I value all your voices. But it would be nice to re-focus on relaying your expertise on visiting the parks as that is #1 on the mind's of most viewers/listeners.
Love when Julie is on!! ❤
Julie episodes…not the best
I think Ryno and Craig are doing a great job (as always) and I've always liked the way they play off each other and how you can tell they are genuinely friends outside of the show. I will be honest: I was not a fan of Julie… until she returned a few months ago. I think her and Ryno and Craig have GREAT chemistry together, and look forward to seeing her on the show. My all-time favorite show was Off the Rails, and now that the weekly show has that same vibe, I'm loving it. I know a lot of folk miss Pete, but honestly, I think his absence allows the others to flourish a little bit. I do love a good Pete rant, but Pete is is a big presence. His absence allows others to do their own thing, and I can never help but feel that sometimes (the younger cast especially) hold back when he's on the show. I mean he is their boss and this is his show. So it's to be expected. So I'm really enjoying this era of the show, even if Pete is more entertaining than any single person at the current table… but who on earth could ever fill that guy's shoes? Guess I'm just saying: I'm really digging what's going on here.
TBH haven't watched this particular episode (just the first few minutes to see who was on this week) and saving it for the road trip to WDW tomorrow. I saw some some-what negative comments and it got me thinking about how much I'm loving this show right now.
The only thing I hate about the show is how tempted I am to go buy RSVLTS shirts each week because of Ryno and Craig. I don't have that kind of cash flow, guys. I'm taking a family of five to Ohana this trip.
I adore julie! Love her style, would watch a video of her just showing us all the new disney merch.
Merch review … reminded me that merch to resort was still gone … can we send to front of park? I thought that wasn't a thing anymore either
Bye bye….KK, Lucas Film is gonna change for the better.
Too bad cant say the same.for the Parks.
How come Jackie hasn't been on the show in a long time?
I don’t understand all of the negativity in the comments. Great show, great panel, no changes needed! I love Pete and do miss him, but I also love the show without him. Keep up the great work, you guys are my bright spot to each week!
Love this show❤️
Starcruiser has been CRAZY the past couple months. The amount of people I know that have gone two or even three times since the announcement (including myself) just from getting in on a few cancellations is a LOT. Wild how things changed since they said it’ll be going away. I personally went for the first time after the announcement and can unironically say it changed the course of my life
Just my opinion, a lot of the non Disney chatter is what the Patreon after show should be for.
