Greek food knocks Italian food out the park. I find Italian food to be the most boring on planet earth. Pasta, pasta, pasta, and more boring pasta. No imagination at all.
Gordon come on…I mean..greek food is awesome, i love it and i don' t know Why here in Italy there aren't many greek restaurants. But italy is bigger than Greece, i mean on the map, we are 60 million people and we have many many many differences from north to South (even in The middle)…so many different ways to Cook fish, meat, vegetables, pasta, pizza and so many other dishes that i don't even know, because in every town you travel you can discover a new and incredible recipe .

Argument is simple, google for greek recipes and for Italian recipes.
Results: hundreds of greek ones, only a handful of Italian
